Comments like these will 10x in the next 24 months, mark my words. All these trick-into-sub or ship-from-china ecom bros going to kill the industry for some.

My priority: Incredible product Amazing customer service Great offer Good margins Great ads Good landing page . . . . . . . . . . . Disguised subscription
If you’re not cracked, you’re behind…and the only person/company to blame is you. What matters most (in priority): - incredible ads - strong offer - landers/cro - great margins - good product It’s still just the fundamentals.

It’s really simple lads. Neither matters. Meta optimises to make maximum dollars for Meta. They know what you are willing to pay, and they charge you the absolute maximum. Your “natural CAC” to quote @jordanmenard It’s a public company that has to increase shareholder value every quarter. The only way to do so, is to optimise for meta.
How to understand incremental attribution in 7 seconds: Standard attribution: this guy gets credit for the train leaving. Incremental attribution: the driver gets credit for the train leaving. Which would you rather optimize for more of?

Two or 3 years ago I spent ages trying to blend in this background from loads of different photos… Thank you AI.

First time I’ve seen this email. Clearly I suck at ads 🤣

Dumb thing I learned about @shopify today. Even if you unpublish a product from shop as a channel, it still shows up in shop. Retarded

The math doesn't math anymore. Ecommerce is a harder game than it's ever been and there's less money for brands than ever. Brands, Agencies, and Service Providers need to change their models.

Just a little reminder that most CRO you do is actually still guess work as there are so many variables. Unless you are testing tens of thousands of conversions, treat it as guidance rather than fact. This is an a/a test (both variants are the same)

What’s going to replace meta after they inevitably kill their ads business with ai bs? All content slowly becoming ai bs. All ads becoming ai bs. Consumers will leave. Where will they go? What platform should I be figuring out?

Just me then? 😭
Anyone seeing winning adsets just suddenly stop spending. No changes my end, it just drops to zero? I’ve experienced it a few times in the past week. Very frustrating. Any idea how to get it to start again? (It’s lowest cost)

Any good way to a/b shipping thresholds? Or is it even worth doing?

For the last week I’ve been trying to figure out why my conversion. Rate has dropped off a cliff. Turns out @shopify is just retsrded. It’s giving me 2% conversion but only calculating it on 331 completed checkouts instead of the 600 so far today. Man. Sort your shit out @shopify it’s simple math.
