Dr. Augustinos Samaan Egyptian Coptic Christian scholar, YouTuber with over 100,000 subscribers is rotting in an Egyptian prison for the “crime” of teaching Christianity and comparing it to Islam.
This man was slammed with five years of hard labor under Egypt’s blasphemy law (Article 98(f)) simply for making educational videos.
That’s not justice.
That’s state-enforced religious tyranny.
While locked up, fellow inmates have burned his legs with cigarettes until they swelled, denied him food, water, hygiene, and the right to worship, urinated on him, and left him infested with lice.
His mother died of grief right after the sentence(3 months and yes she died of grieve and a blood clot)
This is what Christian persecution looks like in Egypt:

The Forgotten Igbo Hero of the Liberian Civil War. 🇳🇬
During the Liberian Civil War (1989–1990), a wealthy Igbo businessman, Emmanuel Chukwu, risked everything to save over 1,000 Nigerians trapped in Monrovia.
Using his two cargo ships and personal wealth, he organized their evacuation amid bullets, chaos and violence.
At one point, he gave up his brand-new Mercedes to help secure the release of captured Nigerians.
His heroism came at a devastating cost. His businesses were looted, his assets worth about $89.4 million were lost, and his younger brother was killed.
After saving more than 1,000 Nigerians, Emmanuel Chukwu returned to Nigeria with reportedly only about $600 left.
Despite promises of assistance and recognition from the Nigerian government at the time, he remained largely unrecognized.
The wealthy man who risked his fortune, sacrificed his possessions and lost his brother to save Nigerian lives came back home to live in silence and struggle.
A man who saved more than 1,000 Nigerians should not be forgotten. 🇳🇬💔

PUBLIC LETTER TO THE SUPREME COUNCIL FOR SHARI’AH IN NIGERIA

We respectfully call on the Supreme Council for Shari’ah in Nigeria to reconsider and withdraw its public statement defending Senator Shehu Buba pending a thorough and independent investigation into the serious allegations against him.
The allegations concerning his alleged involvement in assisting bandits are matters of national security and public interest. If credible evidence exists, it should be properly examined by the relevant authorities rather than dismissed on political, religious, or personal grounds.
The Shari’ah commands us to uphold justice regardless of who is involved. If Senator Shehu Buba is innocent, a transparent investigation will establish his innocence; if there is credible evidence of wrongdoing, he should face due process.
We therefore urge the Council not to allow religious or institutional solidarity to replace evidence, justice, and accountability.
Truth must come before loyalty, and justice must come before politics.!!!

THE SHEHU BUBA FILE IS GETTING DARKER
The DSS has reportedly confirmed that investigations into allegations surrounding Senator Shehu Buba are still ongoing.
Remember: Governor Bala Mohammed reportedly petitioned President Tinubu in 2024, alleging that Buba was “supporting, enabling and empowering bandits.”
Then came Abubakar Idris, a suspected bandit reportedly detained by the DSS after being registered for Hajj through a process linked to Buba’s political structure.
Another accuser, Hassan, now alleges that people connected to Dogo Gide were brought to Abuja for drone and sniper training. He possesses recordings, photos and videos.
Buba denies sponsoring banditry and says his contacts with figures including Bello Turji were connected to a non-kinetic peace initiative.
But here is my problem:
This man once chaired the Senate Committee on National Security and Intelligence.
If allegations this grave can follow someone occupying such a sensitive position, Nigerians deserve more than silence.
But nobody should shield Buba.
DSS, RELEASE YOUR FINDINGS.
Clear him or prosecute him.
National security cannot have sacred cows.
