3 years ago today I started my medical transition with hormone replacement therapy. I had no idea where it would take me. I just knew I couldn’t keep living the way I had been. Three years later, almost every part of my life looks different. My body, my career, my relationships, my faith, where I live, and what I thought my future would look like. Transition didn’t magically make life easier. In a lot of ways, it made life much more difficult. But it gave me the chance to build a life that feels like mine. Three years down. Still becoming. It’s a wild ride. #trans #transwoman

Where does a 36-year-old trans woman go to get her ears pierced? Apparently not Claire’s. My girlfriend suggested a tattoo shop, but tattoos are a big commitment. I used to be really overweight as a teenager. Turns out, not much has changed. I love me some Dominos! And as for getting rid of man boobs… I eventually found another solution. First time featuring at Denver Comedy Works and absolutely loved it!

I bought half a dozen donuts. I ate 1.5 and then threw the rest in the trash. And then I took the bag of trash to the dumpster at my old apartment complex a few miles away… because I know my flaws. Anyway, memoir is coming along. I think I’ll leave this part out
