Dear Dale,
and Christians everywhere,
There are millions of things you can choose to be afraid of in this world.
Jesus explicitly told us to expect dangers, persecution and hardship. These things are part of the Christian life.
It's always been that way.
A Christian leader who mainly spreads a message of suspicion, fear, anxiety, shame and anger is not preparing people well, either for the work of the righteous Kingdom of God, or for effective perseverance under persecution, tribulation and evil.
It's also not leading any unbeliever, whether Jew or Gentile, toward the kind of mindset or life Jesus taught, or toward the things he promised and taught us to give thanks for, patiently wait for, and pray for.
Nor does it produce genuine repentance or sorrow over one's own sin.
Instead, it encourages a victimhood mindset in which the focus is always on what other people are doing to you, taking from you, or withholding from you.
The result is a congregation shaped mainly by anxiety, suspicion and resentment, all of which run contrary to faith in God, love, joy and the peace that surpasses all understanding, the very things that are supposed to flow out into a lost world that so desperately needs them.
Sure, fear does make people easier to mobilize.
It creates a temporary emotional herd mentality and conformity to a cultural, political or religious movement. But that is not at all the same thing as becoming more faithful, truthful, courageous or loving in the way Jesus described.
You can see the same dynamic in far-left organizations, scared to death by fears of global warming, anti-trans violence, data centers, or whatever the current thing happens to be.
Yes, fear can be very effective at getting people to conform, organize and act. Social engineers and dictators have always understood that, and the powers of darkness understand it too.
But fear does not form the kind of character that effectively endures suffering without becoming faithless, bitter, cruel or vindictive.
It just makes us weaker.
Preparing Christians for persecution does not mean teaching them to be afraid of their enemies in advance. It means preparing them to remain truthful, steadfast, merciful and free from hatred when opposition actually comes.
Look at your Savior,
not at all the constantly looming threats.
What you choose to focus on and draw inspiration from is what you gradually become more like.

๐ "Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:21)
๐ "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." (Matthew 5:44)
๐ "In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

You've already heard of TULIP, well in honor of Reformation Day, I present to you
PANSY: the 5 doctrines of Christian Nationalism.
Power. Power is what we are after. Power is the plan. Power is what we will continue talking about until it manifests itself and we seize control of everything, in Jesus' name.
All criticism of a Christian Nationalist is demonic slander from hell worthy of eternal damnation. We are under divine obligation to call out such slanderers and say whatever we want about them, even calling down curses on them, in Jesus' name.
Nazis with me, Nazis before me, Nazis behind me, Nazis beneath me, Nazis to my right, Nazis to my left, Nazis when I lie down, Nazis when I sit down, Nazis when I arise, Nazis in every eye that sees me, Nazis in every ear that hears me, but calling me a Nazi is slander. See above.
Social media is literal war and we are literal generals. The weapons of our warfare are of the flesh, and theoretically powerful for the tearing down of feelings, as we tear down reputations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of my radness, and take every trend captive to the obedience of Christian Nationalism, and are ready to punish all disobedience to our movement with dank memes and mean tweets and 3 hour podcasts, in Jesus' name.
You are either with us 100% or you are a gay, fat, feminist, boomer who is probably in a mixed marriage. Which isn't ideal but can usually be rectified by a more expensive DNA test that can magically turn Mexicans into Italians, in Jesus' name.
Happy Reformation Day. SDG

Weโve never seen anything like this before. A man was conscripted into jury duty by the government. He performed his civic duty and followed his conscience, refusing to acquit a woman who confessed to systematically executing her three children. The defense attorney immediately launched a public smear campaign against the juror. Soon several other jurors joined the campaign. Then the media. Even the defense attorneyโs wife has joined. Now theyโre doxxing the man, digging into his past, contacting his family, showing up at his house. All of this both to punish him for refusing to go with their program, and to pollute any future jury pool by making it clear that anyone who votes to convict Clancy will have their life destroyed. Itโs truly one of the most outrageously evil things weโve ever seen from the Left, and thatโs saying something. A direct assault on the integrity of our justice system. They are burning down every boundary and standard in their path. And doing it all for the sake of a child murdering psychopath. Unfathomable.
The amount of folks that are in the replies saying they experience this as well is so heart breaking
Iโm tryna tell yโallโฆ. As someone who used to deal with thisโฆ there is FREEDOM In following Jesus

This is so exciting! Cant wait to give this a go once it becomes publicly available

WLC is getting dragged over a misunderstanding of his words. He is not denying Christโs eternal existence.
He is rejecting the doctrine of eternal generation (that the Son is eternally begotten of the Father in his divine nature), which he sees as a later philosophical development read back into the text.
He believes that introduces an ontological subordination โ making the Sonโs existence derived from the Father in a way that diminishes full equality and aseity. Instead, he locates the real subordination and begottenness in the economic Trinity: the roles the three Persons freely assume in the eternal plan of salvation (expressed in the incarnation). The three Persons remain ontologically equal and underived.
Heโs not denying the Trinity or the full deity of the Son. Heโs rejecting what he sees as the problematic implication of eternal begottenness in the divine nature โ that the Son exists only as deriving from the Father.
Itโs fine to disagree with Craig here โ he could have stated it a little better in this short clip. But actually disagree with what heโs saying, not a mischaracterization.

It's worth noting that Anthropic's watermarking goes way beyond what the EU Act actually requires. This doesn't need to be global, apply to code, apply at the model level, apply to edits, and so forth. Those are CHOICES.

This is misattribution.
Apparently, the use of any Claude tools on an input will automatically mark the content as AI.
AT ANY STAGE OF THE PROCESS.
So if you ask Claude to proofread your draft, itโs now marked as AI, regardless of how much Claude rewrote.
Or if you ask Claude to turn a .docx to a .pdf, it will also be labeled as AI, regardless of its actual content.
How is this safer AI?
Not only is this label a huge oversimplification since it doesnโt actually describe the contents that were AI generated, it also misrepresents authorship of human-created work.

Question about Anthropic's watermarker: If I task Claude with doing research, and that research requires quoting something like a legal document, will the quote be subtly changed from the source to introduce the watermark? Because that's TERRIFYING. If not, how can we be sure?
