“But I’m gonna buy myself a luxury $30M jet with your taxpayer money, folks” - Doug Ford🤨
The Ford government has decided to freeze the wages of early childhood educators next year, instead of giving them the expected $1 an hour increase.

Unbelievable.

Seriously @fordnation?
Childcare workers are already underpaid and overworked. Now you’re capping their pay?
This is misogyny in action.
You will make finding childcare even harder and will drive more women out of the workforce.
It’s time for a woman to take your job.

Nothing but spin from the Ford Conservatives.
Academy of Learning received $219 million in OSAP funding in 2024-25, despite repeated warnings of potential fraud.
We now know thousands of OSAP applications were submitted from a single IP address the following year.
Today, I asked how much more taxpayer money went to Academy of Learning in 2025-26.
The Minister wouldn’t answer.
Enough spin. We need answers. #onpoli

Ontario has the exact same issues...

where is the OSAP money, @nolanmquinn ???
Three years of warnings. Hundreds of complaints. Nearly a billion dollars in OSAP grants to private career colleges.
And Minister Nolan Quinn still can’t explain why his government failed to act sooner.
Yesterday, in Question Period, I demanded answers.
Students are paying the price for this government’s failures, and I’m not letting them off the hook. #onpoli

NEW: The Ford government now says it is willing to "consider" releasing portions of the KPMG audit into the private career colleges sector, under select conditions.
"If there are opportunities to release information from the KPMG audit that do not compromise a potential OPP investigation, an Auditor General investigation or the ministry's efforts to obtain evidence, recover funds and hold bad actors accountable, we will consider doing so."
Here's the minister's original comments:

Any self-respecting Premier would simply resign over this one scandal.
Doug Ford has about 15 scandals as bad or worse than this.

$17B for just interest on debt alone. Historic high deficit. Doug Ford is bad at managing your money, and it’s costing you.
Days after the fall economic statement, Premier Doug Ford is defending his government's repeated deficits.
Ford blames the pandemic and Trump for the consistent delay in balancing the budget, as the government first promised in 2018.

Never has a government spent so much and gotten so little for the people of Ontario.
Today Doug Ford released his fall economic statement, and families struggling with grocery bills and rent got no real help, just more tired announcements.
It’s time for real solutions that put money back in your pocket, end the health care wait times, and build the homes that people can afford.
