For almost all of our existence, in almost every place, almost all humans have lived in the shadows of tyrants of one type or another. But, on this day, 250 years ago, on the Eastern seaboard of North America, a small group of (mostly) men, steeped in a specific set of Enlightenment ideas, kindled a spark of liberty. Through the sacrifices, and notwithstanding the mistakes, of that generation and of the generations that followed, the spark grew into a fire blazing across the continent, throwing off more sparks, which eventually lit up other lands. Let us never forget that the original fire, still burning, is neither historically nor geographically "normal". It is, instead, exceptional, precious, and worth protecting from those, both foreign and domestic, who might prefer that it go out.

Again for those in the back, Elon once offered to cut a check for $6 BILLION to the WFB to "eliminate World hunger" as they said the money could. His one condition was that the accounting was public. They did not accept.
Elon Musk dismantled USAID programs that provided lifesaving assistance to millions of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people. The human cost was enormous, while DOGE’s net fiscal impact was inconsequential. Now, as Musk approaches trillionaire status, he should commit/tithe at least $100 billion to a fund dedicated to combating extreme poverty, hunger, preventable disease, and humanitarian crises worldwide. Money alone cannot undo the damage already done. But if this moment marks an unprecedented personal financial milestone, it should also be an opportunity for an unprecedented act of restitution. Musk has the resources to save and improve countless lives. He should use them.

Posting for two reasons: 1 being if any of you can help this guy out. 2 being to remind everyone that if AI can shorten (even by a little) the time it takes to get drugs like these to the people that need them, then the trillions on compute will have been well spent.
Veteran buried his eldest and it’s not looking good for his two others. Posting for any connections, help that can be made while they fight for time.

If you are in contact with anyone in Iran using Starlink, ask them to try enabling the “Use Starlink positioning exclusively” option under Advanced and then Debug Data in the Starlink app to see if it helps bypass the reported signal jamming.

We will never have, by every good metric imaginable, a President as great as Donald Trump. He has literally been one man in the storm, turning back a tsunami of graft, corruption, and sloth in Washington and beyond. He is a gladiator, a truly unstoppable force of nature.

The Minnesota Somali fraud exposes everything that is wrong with government. Politicians and their administrators spend other people’s (taxpayers’) money to advance their own interests —getting themselves and their party elected and reelected by supporting an ethnic group which votes as a block — under the guise of supporting a purported good, in this case child daycare, autism care and ‘healthcare’ broadly defined. When this fraud is combined with a system which allows one voter to ‘verify’ up to eight other voters who do not have to show state or federal ID, at best you destroy the American people’s confidence in our democratic voting system, and, at worst, you have rigged elections. The only way this stops is for the people responsible to suffer severe criminal consequences and for there to be a Federal internal audit system where private citizen bounty hunters who find fraud earn rewards equal to a percentage of the grift identified. The time to fix our broken system is now.

Charlie knew about Mark Kelly
Elon Musk becomes deeply moved, and deadly serious, when Bret Baier asks him why he called Sen. Mark Kelly a "Traitor" for pushing to send more US aid and weapons to Ukraine. Watch every second of his response. "We should have empathy for the thousands of people dying everyday in the trenches. For no movement in the lines. For the past two years thousands of people have died every week for nothing." "I take great offense at those who put the appearance of goodness over the reality of it. Those who virtue signal and say we can't give into Russia, but have no solution to stopping thousands of kids dying every day." "I have contempt for such people and I want to make that clear. Because they're virtue signaling and their lack of a solution means that kids don't have a father. It means parents lost a son. For what? Nothing."

🚨 WOW! President Trump just DROPPED THE MIC on "No Kings" "By the way, I'm not a KING. I work my A*S OFF to make our country great. That's all it is." "It's a joke. I looked at the people...all the brand new signs. It was paid for by Soros and radical left lunatics...we're checking that out. Very small, ineffective, and the people were WHACKED OUT. Not representative of the people of our country." 🫳🎤

Hamas killed every single female hostage they had left so those girls couldn't tell the world what they had done to them. To everyone who walks on a 'free palestine' march To everyone who flies that islamo-fascist flag To everyone who chants from the river to the sea Fuck you.

I am done with the rhetoric this rotten House and corrupt media has caused. EVERY DAMN ONE OF YOU WHO CALLED US FASCISTS DID THIS. You were too busy doping up kids, cutting off their genitals, inciting racial violence by supporting orgs that exploit minorities, protecting criminals, and stirring hate. YOU ARE THE HATE you claim to fight. Your words caused this. Your hate caused this. Charlie. His family. Those kids. No one deserved this. Enough is enough.

So let me get this straight… A bartender can go to prison for serving drinks to a drunk person if they drive and murder someone— …but judges aren’t accountable after letting a 14 TIME REPEAT OFFENDER murder a young woman?

A true hero story for you👇🏼 You're a 19-year-old kid. You are critically wounded and dying in the jungle somewhere in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. It's November 14, 1965. LZ (landing zone) X-ray. Your unit is outnumbered 8-1 and the enemy fire is so intense from 100 yards away, that your CO (commanding officer) has ordered the MedEvac helicopters to stop coming in. You're lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns, and you know you're not getting out. Your family is halfway around the world, 12,000 miles away, and you'll never see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day. Then - over the machine gun noise - you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter. You look up to see a Huey coming in. But, It doesn't seem real because no MedEvac markings are on it. Captain Ed Freeman is coming in for you. He's not MedEvac so it's not his job, but he heard the radio call and decided he's flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire anyway. Even after the MedEvacs were ordered not to come. He's coming anyway. And he drops it in and sits there in the machine gun fire, as they load 3 of you at a time on board. Then he flies you up and out through the gunfire to the doctors and nurses and safety. And, he kept coming back!! 13 more times!! Until all the wounded were out. No one knew until the mission was over that the Captain had been hit 4 times in the legs and left arm. He took 29 of you and your buddies out that day. Some would not have made it without the Captain and his Huey. Medal of Honor Recipient, Captain Ed Freeman, United States Army, died at the age of 81, in Boise, Idaho. God bless our vets! 🫡TRUE AMERICAN HERO🫡
