I supported Rebecca Cooke last election when she narrowly lost to DVO, and even more so this time. She is a wonderful person and was undaunted by her loss 2 years ago. I am very happy for her.
I have known David Crowley for years. He is a bridge builder by nature. He will have his hands full with one party control, but I know he will try and build bridges.
For all those haters who said “no one” outside of Milwaukee or Tampa would watch the World Series this year…. nytimes.com/athletic/7729570…
Replying to @RickEsenberg
I didn’t imply that anyone was “dumber” than me. Bitter would be a better word. I was speculating (in a snarky way, I admit) on the motivation for the ferocity of WILL wrt some disadvantaged people getting something from the government you don’t get. You are clearly good lawyers.
Based on an editorial in today’s Mikwaukee JS and posts here and elsewhere, I’m guessing WILL is primarily populated with lawyers who couldn’t get a job at a white shoes firm in Milwaukee or Madison because a black guy or woman got it instead.
I ran a business for 14 years, but not one nearly as large as the Brewers. If for some reason we did not fulfill the terms of a contract, the 1st remedy was always to fulfill those terms if we still could. The Brewers could have done that w/TT holders, but didn’t. Shame on them

The Brewers are playing it fast and loose with World Series mojo by jerking around Timeless Ticket fans
The pocket change more the team is making by relegating these folks to the worst places in the stadium is a preposterously bad look
I’m a big Brewer fan, but they (a multibillion dollar corporation) basically renege on a deal they made w/some of their most loyal fans 11 years ago, admit they screwed up, & make a half-assed attempt to fix it & we are all supposed to forget it because we support the team?
For those who don’t like the redesign of some of Milwaukee’s main thoroughfares, and think they are only an homage to bike riders, see today’s Wall Street Journal.
Just saw a WILL sponsored ad for the so called “equality amendment”. What a crock. Such a phony baloney amendment.
This is one of the dumbest analyses of the MLB cost structure I have ever heard. “ Big markets should have a competitive advantage over small markets because they have more fans”🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was a bad decision by the city. I realize fighting it would have cost more, but sometimes principle is more important. I had phoned every alder in Tosa asking them to vote no. :(
