The hard part was never the idea. It was finding the people.
Steve Jobs had the vision. Wozniak could build it. Together, Apple.
Hackyard is the place where builders find each other. Show your work, say what you need, offer what you can.
Don’t build alone. Find your people. Build something real.

$1.75 billion raised.
Hollywood's biggest names.
Founders who built DreamWorks and eBay.
Dead in 6 months.
How 55 people ran an app used by 450 million: no ads, no marketing, no downtime.

5,000+ applied. 300 built. Hackyard Build 2026 was just the start.
5,000+ people applied to our first hackathon.
300 made it into the room.
Hackyard Build 2026, co-powered by @BenQIndia. 24 hours at IIT Guwahati.
Developers, founders, researchers and designers, building side by side.
Teams built with @adaption_ai ($50M Seed), @ByteAsk (YC F26, $1M raised), @Agent37HQ (YC F26) and Nodus (YC F26).
Tools from @ElevenLabs, @render, @browser_use and more in every builder’s hands.
YC founders @TejasGupta67820 (Clean AI), @4n1rudh4 and Pratyush Saini (ByteAsk) joined live from San Francisco for sessions.
Here’s what stayed with me:
Great builders aren’t rare.
Being seen is.
Most talent never reaches the people who could back it, hire it or build with it. Nobody’s looking in the right places.
That’s what we’re building at @joinHackyard . A network where builders get found, and where companies find them.
Hackyard Build 2026 was the first step. Follow along.

Apple fired Steve Jobs at 30.
11 years later it paid $427M to get him back.
The reason is still in your pocket.
The full story: the $6,500 cube that flopped, the side bet that became Pixar, and the 90 days that saved Apple.

A co-founder's CV won't tell you if they ship.
Five signals that will: a link not a pitch, finished over impressive, cut scope not the date, users before stack, build before you commit.

We don't hire from CVs. We hire from work.
Hackyard's winter internship is open. Pick one of 7 tracks, spend 2-4 hours on the task, send us one link.
Shortlisted people get a call, then a paid 2-week trial.
Deadline: 20 Nov, 11:59 PM IST

Founder session announcement: Tejas Gupta, co-founder of Clean (Y Combinator F26), joins Hackyard Build 2026 live from San Francisco.
He scaled a company to $40M and was the youngest intern at GlobalLogic (Hitachi), at 19. YC Startup School rejected him twice - at 21, he got into Y Combinator.
He'll share how he built his network from zero and turned a hackathon team into a YC company.
