Worktrees were the OG bottleneck Then it was code review Then CI Ephemeral environments are the latest. Thankfully Alchemy, Cloudflare, and Planetscale make this easy

Seriously thinking about churning because of this, out of principle.

The cost of serving Grok Bot was unsustainably high relative to revenue

For the macOS self-hosted bit I’m running @alexrabin2000’s kinhin. It’s a really well thought out app that supports VMs and containers (Apple and docker), caching, OTEL, and more github.com/RabinApps/kinhin
You can now optimize your CI spend by routing jobs within a pool: 1) self-hosted, if idle 2) Blacksmith, while minutes last 3) GitHub-hosted, while included minutes last 4) else, wait for #1 Here’s how github.com/SolZeroAI/routact 👇🏻

Github Actions really needs a better API for queuing jobs. It's impossible to build a JIT router. Hoping Cursor's Origin improves on this.

3/ Let Routact see your runners: create an org GitHub App with “Self-hosted runners: Read”, then save its id as the org variable ROUTACT_APP_ID and its key as the org secret ROUTACT_APP_PRIVATE_KEY.

So tempted to dump my unused HELOC into this market pull pack. But that feels like gambling on my house and I tend not to take large financial risks...

I finally packaged my oxlint rules that - catch Effect code that works but reads poorly - is agent friendly; every error states the rule, why it exists, and how to fix it - bundles @dillon_mulroy’s anti-slop rules Feel free to use them too github.com/SolZeroAI/oxlint-…

Was hopeful about the swipe typing, but it feels meh. It doesn't seem to have context and enter words that I would never use. Any good swipe keyboards for iOS?
Introducing the all-new primary keyboard for iOS. No more keyboard switching. 🎙️ Dictation ⌨️ Swipe typing and autocorrect ✨ AI Commands and Quick Fix ⚡ Snippet expansion and Quicklinks 😍 Smart Emoji search 🎨 Five themes

This is a major win for those trying to speed up CI. Only 2 of my 45 tests will run for this PR. Also, s/o to @Cloudflare Clef decision model + @alchemy_run for local stack emulation to make for a delightful e2e test suite experience
Introducing Test Filters API in e2e ✨ → Run only tests that your PR affects → Use decision models like Jev to decide which tests to run → Write custom filters Available now: ~/ npx e2e init

Full test suite takes 12 minutes, but in this case those two tests only took 40 seconds.
