Like a month ago, the Gates Foundation pulled together a 60-member coalition, Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, Microsoft, NVIDIA, ElevenLabs and many more, with one shared 5-year goal:
give 3.4 billion people access to AI in their own language and voice. that means closing the gap across more than 7,000 languages, most of which barely have the voice data to train on.
in other words, the biggest institutions and leading AI labs on earth have confirmed that voice data for underrepresented languages is one of the most important problems in AI right now.
that's the exact market @silencioNetwork has been building for this whole time, and likely no other firm in the world can serve niche languages from 2.5M+ people across the globe the way they can.
given the timing and relevance, maybe the most exciting DePIN in the entire space right now. and the fact that they're already working with some of the leading AI labs as paying clients validates exactly that.

A note on cheaters, farmers, and value extractors ⚠️
And yes spoiler, you are the problem in this industry.
We remove cheaters every single week. Not as a one-off cleanup, as standing policy.
Let's be clear about what this is. Silencio supplies the audio data that frontier AI labs train their models on.
Every dataset we ship carries our name. A faked submission isn't a small thing that slips through, it's a potential problem and reputational risk for us.
So the tolerance is zero, permanently. ❗️
We stand for a new era of crypto: real revenue, real customers, real work that gets paid for. Not farming, not extraction, not gaming a system until it breaks. Anyone not aligned with that can leave and every week, some of them do.
Anyone who has been with us long enough knows how we operate: weekly payments for signed contracts, on time, no games. That record stands on its own. Thousands of dollars paid out (see dune dashboard).
And here's the pattern we see every time: the people shouting loudest about unfair treatment are almost always the ones who got caught. Legitimate contributors are quietly doing the work and getting paid.
We would never remove a genuine contributor. We need you. You are the center piece of this project. We want quality contributors to be happy with us! Cutting honest workers would be the dumbest possible move we could make. The incentive runs entirely the other way. If you read fud, remember this.
Do honest work, get paid weekly. Cheat, and you're gone.
