Hermes browser extension v2🪽 for @NousResearch's Hermes Agent
the last demo went crazy. this one is different. over 8 new releases in the past week and much more to come
- full session management, vision + screenshots
- swap models mid-chat: opus, grok, gpt, local
- side panel that lives on every tab, + chat only mode
- connects to local or remote hermes gateway
- unofficial, open source, built different
hermes doesn't leave the browser. ever.

The community Hermes Browser Extension just hit v0.4.0. 🪽
It's now a proper Hermes plugin.
20 tab control tools. 7 context tools. 3 hooks.
Control is opt-in and only touches tabs you attach. MIT licensed.
Heads up: tab control is Chromium only, and it needs a running Hermes gateway.
Worth a look. 👇

This is absolutely insane. 🤯🎃
First the Hermes app beta. Now a huge browser extension update. Halloween is handing out treats.
v0.4.0 just shipped, and a new plugin gives Hermes 27 tools to read your pages and work your tabs.
â–¸ Answers render as cards, tables and charts right in the side panel
â–¸ Watch chats you started in other apps live: tools, reasoning, subagents
â–¸ Approval cards show exactly what Hermes wants to do before it does it
â–¸ Projects, bot profiles and group rooms in the chat drawer
â–¸ Thinking streams live, then folds away when the answer lands
â–¸ Open Hermes Web in one click
â–¸ Brand new setup in 21 languages
Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox.
What a way to close out October.
Setup in the first reply 👇

no i won't make the extension multi harness.. i only use hermes... why would i put my self through an unecessary headache for free for harnesses i don't use
hermes browser extension v0.4.0 needs its plugin for hermes control on hermes builds newer than 0.22.5
"hermes plugins install github.com/abundantbeing/her… --enable"
install per profile (command in the release notes), then restart the gateway. a few upstream hermes prs are still open, and you'll probably need them
