Screens at night are a problem for sleep, but not for the reasons you think.
I'm basically fully convinced that the available quality data suggests it has little to do with light exposure (blue or otherwise) and almost everything to do with simple procrastination.
When you cut screens out, people just go to sleep earlier.
Some people are light sensitive, but most of the time, it's just that screens are more appealing than sleep.

Performance used to mean something.
It was about doing the work.
Stepping into the arena and finding out what you were made of.
Somewhere along the way, “performance” stopped meaning performing.
It became a brand. A vibe. A marketing slogan.
We lost the plot.

What gets lost in the process?
Intrinsic motivation.
Resilience.
The capacity to explore, to fail, to get back up.
Kids become performers for adults, ticking boxes rather than lighting fires.
They learn to achieve, but not necessarily to care.

Congrats to my dad @pntrack on a historic 44 year run and one of the most successful and influential careers a high school track coach could have. My biggest motivation for coaching track is to continue the tradition of how magical he made this sport seem. Love you dad

Embrace who you are! Place faith, belief, and trust in the people who are “doing” the work. What has been done by this TEAM is a lesson for many to follow.
Life is hard, competing is hard, and winning is hard. This TEAM did the HARD things. Well done! 👏👏
