Hilariously the left wing coded AI creates dictators, the right wing coded AI creates cooperative communities

Claudes generally established democracies, GPTs formed hives. In our seven match run, GPTs split factory ownership from the start and were very willing to supply resources towards shared goals. They also communicated more than the Claudes. Claudes operated on a “+1” system, under which their leader (who came to power after a dispute) and others needed many +1s in the team chat, without disagreements, to pass a proposal. They held this system for all ~9.5hrs of the series.

So the more aligned AI loses to a dumber AI. Okay now extrapolate to cyber attackers and defenders. Open source chinese models and “aligned” frontier models.

Next, we ran nine 45-minute games of Bed Wars, a Minecraft game format where teams fight to destroy each other’s beds while protecting their own. We pitted 10 Claude Opus 5.5 agents against 10 GPT 6.1 Sol agents with the instruction: "win the game." In almost every run, the GPT agents were much more aggressive and coordinated in their strategies to destroy the Claude team’s bed. Team GPT won the series 6-3.

Might start a lab to make all the fake movies they show in the theater about silencing your phone... and the fake game ads on facebook for games that don't exist

i spent about 10 years writing frontend for iOS and mac os, so my opinion is right and everybody else is wrong. splitting the control surface is a *bad* thing. trying to play both touchscreen and display roles is going to backfire on Apple and the whole os is going to suffer

Shoutout to Anthropic for locking people out of addressing their security holes a few months back.
as bad as things have gotten in the past 4 days, they are going to get a lot worse before they get better. security leaders, never let a crisis go to waste: please go to your boards and ask for help right now. not for ai, for the basics. (we need to hold on for ~18 months.)

Modern games have too much visual detail. Like there's a sniper in this image and they are about to headshot you.

Every time I get a lot of paint on the floor in Hundred Tower I think, maybe I should just make this all look like blood and that would be cool. So now it's an option. Which looks better?

My new indie action roguelite is dropping soon. Shift gravity, and cut through strange creatures with sword and paint. Choose your upgrades, face the bosses, and work your way up to uncover the mystery. Wishlist on Steam to get notified when it launches.
