Consider sharing the video to support my dreams! 🌠
If I won $100k I would build a house instead of living in a smoll trailer. And maybe I would also afford to buy a pre-owned Tesla with FSD.
If I won $50k I would buy a pre-owned car and make home improvements to my trailer home, since idk if I would afford to build a house.
If I won $25k I would analyze what I could do to improve life to spend wisely. I would also help my family.
It would really change my life to win one of the prizes. 🥹 💜

We built it. You name it. As we prepare the next generation of spaceships, one of them needs a name, and we’re asking the world to choose it. Details → bit.ly/nameaspaceshipvote #nameaspaceship

USA. A Mexican restaurant. We had not yet ordered anything, and the food was already arriving.
Chips. Salsa. Unrequested. Free.
I stopped the waiter. "We have not earned these."
"They just come with the table, man."
They come with the TABLE. In my land, hospitality is a debt. Every gift creates an obligation, weighed carefully, returned in the proper season with interest of feeling. Here, the gift arrives before you have even proven you can pay for dinner.
This is not an appetizer. This is a declaration: we trust you. Eat.
I ate with the gravity the moment deserved. And then — I must report this calmly — the basket emptied, and a new one appeared.
"Did we…?"
"Refill," the waiter said. "It's bottomless."
Bottomless. They have wells of salsa. The supply lines of this nation are beyond anything my ancestors imagined.
My friend warned me. "Don't fill up on chips, dude."
Too late. I had accepted three baskets. Honor demanded each one be finished — an unfinished gift is an insult. By the time my actual food arrived, I was a ruined man.
I was not hungry. I was not comfortable. I had been defeated by a courtesy.
Generosity that arrives before the request cannot be repaid. It can only be survived.
I know the rule now. I have made my peace with the basket. One basket. Two at the most.
Who am I deceiving. There is no number of baskets I would refuse. The trust of a nation is in that salsa, and I intend to honor all of it.

Astronauts are on their way to the moon and their concern today is where do they store their trash. Amazing time to be alive

39 missions. 365 days in space. 150 million miles flown. 🚀
15 years ago today, Space Shuttle Discovery landed at Kennedy Space Center, completing its final spaceflight. Discovery is now on display at the Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia.
Seeing lots of posts about bleach or vinegar baths to keep carved pumpkins from decaying as fast. Anyone have tips for keeping away the squirrels?

Because apparently it needed to be said:
Space Shuttle Discovery should stay put and in one piece, so tens-to-hundreds of millions of dollars can instead go toward solving real-world problems for Americans:

To be fair, I did see payphones in a not so visible area in a St. Louis shopping center this summer. Picked up the handset and heard a real dial tone. The exits still exist.

To the spouses who found out they were being cheated on via the Coldplay jumbotron: sorry to hear that. Come see Spinal Tap. We promise no jumbotrons, just ear damage and emotional closure.
