“Religion was invented to control people.”
You really think men invented a religion that tells them to love their enemies, forgive those who hurt them, and pray for those who persecute them? 🤔

Isn’t it strange how forcing pork on Muslims is called disrespectful, but forcing LGBTQ ideology on Christians is called “tolerance”.

What’s a polite way to tell someone, “I’m not discussing this with you because your entire understanding of the subject is built on so many interconnected misconceptions that correcting them would require uninstalling your current worldview and starting the tutorial from birth”?

Barack Obama says Cheesecake Factory and Chuckie Cheese were staples of his daughter's childhoods. His daughters are 25 and 27 now which means when he started running for President they were 6 and 8. He was a Senator before that, so they were 4 and 6. He was a state Senator in Illinois they were toddlers, and there's no Cheesecake Factory in Springfield, IL. He's had a private chef since 2008. So you know. He lies about everything. @NEWSMAX @NEWSMAXPodcasts
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Obama's family lived in Chicago, not Springfield, during his Illinois state senate years. Cheesecake Factory opened its first Chicago location in 1995.

This one hits hard. I remember spending plenty of time with my dad as a kid watching Star Trek: Next Gen, getting to share those memories.
Rest in peace Sir Patrick Stewart.

Woke up super early for work. I leave at 6AM. Nobody is awake. I was feeling kind of down.
I get in my car. It’s super dark outside. I back out and noticed my 6y/o son has opened the door, walked outside, and is staring at me.
I park the car & get out.
Me: Hey… what’s up?
Son: I just… wanted to give you a hug before you left.
Me: Oh! Yeah of course!
(We start hugging.)
Me: Sorry, bud. I didn’t know you were awake. Otherwise I would’ve said bye.
Son: I got out when you were leaving. I was banging on the window, but you didn’t hear me.
Me: You were? Well thank you for coming outside, then. I’m glad you did.
We let go and he runs back in side. There’s days where I just don’t feel like I’m a good at all. I thank God for moments like this, because I need them.

The main concern for a local Church should be doing outreach directly in its community, not spending $30k to send 20 members to some other continent

I’ve been red pilled, black pilled, white pilled, clear pilled. All the pills.
I don’t even know which one this is, but it’s one of the strongest ones I’ve had in a long long time. The desperation in his voice. You can see the sight of his kids in his eyes when he says he’s supposed to be home with them. You can see the math he’s doing in his head as he calculates how much money he has left, and how much he needs for his mortgage, and when it’s due.
What the hell is the American dream anymore? Is this what it’s about? Is there anyone who would say this guy isn’t working his ass off? For what? So that 25% of his income can go to a government that wastes it on a bunch of shit he didn’t vote for? Subsidizing the food he stocks grocery stores with for people who don’t work a 1,000th of how hard he works to buy groceries with EBT cards that he pays for, which then drives up the cost of groceries for him and his family that he pays for out of his paycheck because he’s doing it the right way.
This entire system is shit. It’s shit. There is no nicer way to put it. It is dog. shit.
This guy should be working a 9-5 at a job that gives him dignity so that he can be at home with his kids at a decent time. Instead he’s some jerk off’s content. His stressed out, end of his rope reaction is some asshole’s income.
This is bleak stuff. Absolutely bleak.
