Mo Salihu, NP Nigeria

I remember days ago on an X space I and @Nig_Farmer were invited to talk on the agricultural sector under President Tinubu and a particular speaker said it does not believe that the figures (N) from the Nigerian agric export commodities is true/ correct. Instantly, I had to correct him to always check the record and data of the NBS before he comes online to make such incorrect assumptions. I do tell people that the business of agriculture either from direct production, service, export and non-oil production is way bigger than what we read or see online and you can only track it via the NBS not because you supply few trucks of commodities to clients and think that’s where it all ends. There are people and industries today in this country that are silently exporting every of their produce to international markets, and you won’t see them come online while there are some with the biggest aggregator market and you never see them online just like er have one of the biggest Seafood export producers in Lagos Badagry Today, we are building the biggest Aeroponics / Greenhouse Farm in Lagos for export and target market and you will never see the clients online. I’m happy the NBS release this data few days after that X space to help buttress my point. Finally, the business of agriculture can only be bigger than this if government, especially at the state level is intentional about the sector to attract private sector players. God bless Nigeria God bless the president @easydigita @otegaogra
