BREAKING: Police arrest a 32-year-old man in Florida after catching him lurking outside a preschool with an AK-47 and handgun ready to go in his vehicle.
The man allegedly told officers that he was on his way to the CIA, which is located about a mile away from the school in question.
Thankfully, tragedy was narrowly avoided in this case, but what kind of country are we living in where a man can trespass onto preschool grounds with a literal weapon of war? What kind of country allows a person to own a gun like that in the first place?

On this day 21 years ago a jury in Birmingham convicted Bobby Frank Cherry of the 1963 bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church and the murder of Denise McNair, Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Morris Wesley and Carole Robertson. What folks don’t appreciate is that the bombing and deaths of those young girls was the beginning of the “woke” movement because it woke the conscientious of the American people, of the President and of the Congress leading to the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. I guess our continuing effort to bring justice was also “woke.” Well so damn be it. We need to always remember the horrors that hate can cause and be woke enough to call it out.

Is it the part where she dared to dream of becoming president? Y’all know how they feel about a Black President. Hell, they are pissed about Kamala.
Maybe because Amanda Gorman’s work focuses on issues of race and oppression, feminism, and marginalization.
Maybe it’s as simple as she’s Black, intelligent, and beautiful.

WOW!! More than a week after CNN’s disastrous town hall with Trump, the negative impact the fiasco had on its ratings is coming into clearer focus. Last week, the network suffered its LOWEST-RATED week since June 2015, averaging just 429,000 total daily viewers from Monday to Friday. In comparison, MSNBC more than DOUBLED the daily audience of CNN, drawing 976,000 total viewers.
Fox News averaged 1.4 million viewers, which was a DECREASE of 41 percent in the key demo year-to-year and 24 percent in total viewers. Fox has seen its ratings plummet as angry right-wingers flee after Tucker Carlson’s shock firing. In fact, their post-Tucker weekday demo audience is the LOWEST it’s been since September 2001.
