How odd, that (gross) section of the 49ers fanbase keep telling themselves and everyone who hasn't blocked them that Purdy is too small and has his passes batted ten times more than everyone else. Never been true, of course. #FTTB
Which QB's passes get batted down the most? Data: @FantasyPtsData, min. 70 attempts

The 49ers don't have the health luck (not to mention that Goodell hates Purdy) to allow themselves to play this badly again😞 #FTTB
Did we really get beat that bad? Comparing offensive success rates for NFL games in Week 7:

I thought I had finally blocked everyone in the #FTTB fanbase bitter because Purdy turned out to be one of the best QBs in the league. Turns out I hadn't; they just had to wait for almost two months before some of them felt like yapping again. Must've been hell... for them😂

"Not a ton [of flags] but poorly timed" This is how Goodell rigs games. Most often in favor of KC, to the chagrin of the bandwagoners who know it but can't admit it. They bleat about the meaningless flags they get in obfuscation, that don't fool anyone💁 #NFL

A win in that game always felt like it'd be a miracle, and those don't happen for teams Goodell hates, like the 49ers. I'm just glad there weren't long lasting injuries. For once. #SFvsATL #FTTB

Seen a few clips of Williams’s throw to Odunze during #NEvsCHI; replies falling over themselves to praise meltman’s arm. … Purdy routinely makes throws like it. Hell, he made an arguably tougher one this very week. Yet his arm is “weak”. Something’s not adding up here🤨 #FTTB

Only ethical football by Purdy and Shanahan. #FTTB
Replying to @sfdata9ers
How often are teams converting when they throw short of the sticks on 3rd down? DEN is throwing short of the first-down marker on 56.1% of their 3rd-down pass attempts, but those plays convert just 15% of the time. Bold strategy, cotton.

Purdy was mocked in the first after year 2, then Hall emerged and Brock had a couple bad games in his last year, so everyone chose to forget. Funny, people are trying that with Arch Manning now. I doubt he'll actually slide, but if he does, he may become as big a steal as Purdy.
Okay I truly don't understand how Brock Purdy was Mr. Irrelevant. Some of these balls are absolutely ridiculous 😭

I think some 49ers fans are going overboard with the “iT’s jUSt pHysIcAl fOoTBaLl” thing. There have been inane complaints about legal hits, sure, but some are absolutely valid. Lucky they haven’t hurt anyone, I think, but I still want to see only legal hits. #FTTB

Mariota has won three games in that span, and even Josh Johnson won one. So Daniels’s backups have won twice as many games as he has. … last year, people were saying there should be a QB controversy in SF because McCorkle played worse and had a worse record than Purdy🤨 #FTTB
Jayden Daniels has only won two games since his rookie season and his last win as a starter came on October 5th 2025. Drake Maye went winless for two weeks and we questioned everything down to his wife's cooking skills. Buddy hasn't won in a year??!!

My, my, I wasn’t expecting Purdy finally reaching the all time stats threshold would break #NFL twitter so fast. It’s not even been three hours and I’m already seeing the most random fanbases yapping stale, absurd nonsense. This week will be interesting👀 #FTTB

The good news is they won. The bad news is the 49ers may be going to Atlanta without wide receivers. Why can’t that team that already gets all the help from Goodell have bad luck?😒 #WSHvsSF #FTTB

I won’t blame Sorensen for the second Rams game, the offense was ass that game… but the other three in 2024 here? The most putrid last second collapses I’ve seen. Can’t believe he still has a job, even if not as DC. #FTTB
Here you go! All 32 NFL teams, sorted by most losses when leading at some point in the 4th quarter since 2018:

After week 5, I said somewhere that if the Rams lost any of their pre-bye games, they’d be at the door of “time to see what we got in Ty Simpson” territory. Well, well, they just lost their very first of those games…

Maybe he should ask for a trade. Preferably to the 49ers👀 #FTTB
Cam Skattebo: “I got punished for what I did (from last week). I understand it so I gotta be ready when coach calls my name and that wasn’t today.” “It’s hard, but I've made mistakes, and I got to own up to them.” #giants

The Rams lost again?! Against the Cardinals?! At home?!!! What kind of superteam is that?🤨 #ARIvsLAR

JJ McCarthy just played better than any Vikings QB has played so far this year. And may have completed the comeback if Harbaugh hadn’t stupidly refused to play his best RB even down several scores. #NOvsNYG

That #NOvsNYG ended up being close. Maybe they would’ve won if Harbaugh hadn’t refused to play Skattebo.

Now that that’s over, SEA’s offense better figure it out in this mini-bye. Goodell’s mancrush on Mahomes is a blight on the sport, so KC must lose. Their defense is weaker than the Broncos’🤞

I couldn’t watch the game, but I just checked the play by play and saw the passing charts… holy moly, I don’t think I can defend Bo Nix anymore. #SEAvsDEN
