On Remembrance Sunday 2024, a 68-year-old Somali man named Musse Ali walked into a London market and stabbed a 77-year-old British pensioner, Hilkiah McLeggan, to death in the back. He also knifed two other innocent people. He didn’t even face a murder trial. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter, claiming “mental health issues” schizoaffective disorder. The courts accepted it. Instead of jail, he’s been given an indefinite hospital order and locked away in Broadmoor. A British citizen is dead. His family will never get him back. The killer avoids proper prison because of a psychiatric label. This is not justice. It’s a sick joke. These asylum seekers and migrants keep coming over here, some of them violent and unvetted, and the system bends over backwards to protect them instead of British victims. Mental health excuses, hospital orders, no deportation while ordinary British people get thrown in cells for far less serious offences. When a foreign national murders one of our own on a day of national remembrance and walks away from real jail time, something is rotten to the core. British lives should come first. Not excuses. Not “treatment.” Not endless “human rights” for people who shouldn’t even be here.
