over 2500 miles travelled, 8 different places, 10 dates attended on the tour. over 45 hours in queues, around 7 hours of standing in the rain. and tonight’s the last night. this has the most life affirming and best experience of my life. I love you @welovepulp

English football just finds itself in a completely ludicrous, damaging situation now. And it has been a very long time coming

The fact that they’re even allowed to play this game is just baffling to me. Like my brain just can’t comprehend how they get away with this

Again you have to ask: what does this mean? These players buying into a supposed siege mentality and yet they will be immediately out of the door the moment sanctions are handed down. Fans gloating about it all. Such a bad look for the Premier League.

Jugen Klopp's "heavy metal" lads would have loved an occasion like this. Imagine Mane, Fabinho and Robertson feeding off the atmosphere/build-up. Instead it's Barcola and Wirtz drifting around and shrugging their shoulders.

I think you can almost say that Wirtz single-handedly took us from the title winning side to competing for top four. It meant a system change, weakened midfield and in return we get absolutely nothing but I am giving the ball away. luxury player that doesn’t bring any luxury.

This is all very weird. Feels like when my six year old is winning a game by cheating and we’re basically all just waiting it out until we can start again

This just isn't right. The Premier League have a huge issue the longer this farce goes on

Game completely changed after the ref wrongly sent off Gravenberch, kinda like how the game changed after the Premier League wrongly sat and watched City blatantly cheat for the best part of two decades

It's a victory that is likely to mean absolutely nothing in a couple of months when City get their punishment for nearly a decade of cheating. What a mess the Premier League is in.

Oh okay so Gromit is Martin Freeman
Gromit's voice has been revealed.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The video promotes the audiobook of the fictional autobiography "Grand: The Autobiography of Gromit" narrated by Martin Freeman. Creator Nick Park stated: "Martin is not doing a Gromit ‘voice’ as such. He’s reading Gromit’s story as Gromit put it." variety.com/2026/film/glob… theguardian.com/film/2026/oct/… independent.co.uk/arts-entertain…

I'm sorry to tell you this, but this is theatre etiquette 101: you do not stage door for a show you haven't seen. It's not a free meet & greet!

Burnham being a gobshite on this is not a shock. He has laid his groundwork with Everton. He didn't need to use his groundwork but he can't help himself.
Andy Burnham there, not wanting to intervene in the process, but giving a (weird) opinion on the PL’s reliability in processes and saying what he wouldn’t like as an outcome. So not intervening by intervening.
