The Trump administration has sanctioned Rwanda on several occasions, but let us be honest: the world is increasingly questioning Washington’s impartiality. You cannot credibly portray yourself as a neutral mediator while appearing to prioritise strategic interests and mineral wealth over a sustainable resolution to the conflict. Is this genuinely about peace, or is it about securing access to the DRC’s vast natural resources? Tshisekedi is desperately seeking political survival & the concessions he makes to foreign powers should not be mistaken for a genuine commitment to the welfare of ordinary Congolese. A government’s survival is not synonymous with its people’s prosperity. If Washington continues down this path, it risks alienating Rwanda and undermining the credibility required for meaningful diplomacy. Political circumstances can change, but diplomatic trust, once shattered, is extraordinarily difficult to restore. Peace cannot be built on selective accountability, geopolitical opportunism & punitive measures alone. Address the root causes, abandon double standards & pursue a genuinely balanced approach or risk losing the trust of a country whose cooperation is essential to lasting regional stability.
Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control imposed sanctions on the Rwandan Ministry of Defence and Zigama Credit and Savings Society, a Rwandan financial institution that has played a key role in facilitating Rwanda’s support for the March 23 Movement and its political wing, the Congo River Alliance. home.treasury.gov/news/press…

Rwanda is moving from aid dependency towards strategic partnerships and economic self-reliance. The Rwanda Development Cooperation Policy (RDCP) 2026–2050 reflects a clear ambition: to strengthen national ownership, mobilise investment, and align international cooperation with Rwanda’s long-term development priorities under Vision 2050. With NST2 targeting 9.3% average annual economic growth, 1.25 million productive jobs, and US$4.6 billion in private investment by 2029, Rwanda is setting its sights on a more competitive, resilient, and prosperous economy. The message is clear: development must be driven by national priorities, supported by strategic partnerships, and sustained through innovation, discipline, resilience, and hard work. The goal is not merely to attract aid, but to build an economy capable of financing its own ambitions and creating lasting opportunities for its people. From dependency to self-reliance. From ambition to transformation. Rwanda’s Vision 2050 is about building a prosperous future for generations to come.
Rwanda’s development journey is evolving. 🇷🇼 The Rwanda Development Cooperation Policy (RDCP) 2026–2050 sets a new direction for how Rwanda works with development partners to achieve Vision 2050, strengthen national ownership, and build a self-reliant, high-income economy. From aid to strategic partnerships, the focus is on financing Rwanda’s priorities and delivering lasting results for all Rwandans. #RDCP2050 #Vision2050 #Rwanda

While critics are busy parroting anti-Rwanda narratives, Rwanda is busy promoting its brand on the global stage, attracting investment, expanding tourism, and making tangible progress in development. The difference is clear: some are consumed by criticism, while others are focused on building, innovating, and positioning their country for the future. Rwanda understands that global influence is built through strategic partnerships, ambition, and results not endless noise.

If Rwamabuye has indeed been liberated, what happened to all the noise from Tshisekedi’s supporters yesterday? Now that the battlefield narrative is being challenged, what do they have to say? All Congolese deserve equal rights, dignity, and protection, regardless of their ethnic background. Meanwhile, the human cost of this conflict continues to rise. How many more lives must be lost for the ambitions of Ndayishimiye? The people of the Great Lakes region deserve peace, not endless bloodshed and political games.

While others are busy shouting about our President, we are on our knees praying to Almighty God to protect him, strengthen him, and give him the wisdom to keep leading our nation. We know the weight of responsibility he carries, and we pray that God gives him the strength to carry it. 🇷🇼

Rwandans are participating peacefully in their nationwide local leaders’ elections. NO heavy guns & military appearances, NO kicking of voting materials, NO kidnapping of contestants, NO insulting of each other, NO voters' bribery. #Uganda please pick a leaf! 🇺🇬🙏🇷🇼

These are Rwanda govt projects. Govt is building houses for those who can't afford to have a house to live in. Kagame was a God sent to Rwanda, i don't care about his dictatorship as long as is working for the people. What do we want as citizens? Better Life. Why do we vote? We vote to have leaders who can give us a better life. Are Chinese fighting to get Xi Jinping out of power? Why yet they have no democracy? Are Russians? All I care about is a leader who works for his people not one who say his not our servant.

🇷🇼 Rwanda might just be one of the safest countries in Africa! Look at this guy, walking alone on the street with his phone out, without constantly looking over his shoulder or worrying about someone snatching it. 😂📱 Now try this in Kyanja, Bwaise, or Kawempe in Kampala, Uganda. You might finish recording the video with a story you never planned to tell! 😭😂🇺🇬

When we say the opposition has a serious problem with reasoning, THIS is exactly what we mean! Kabera reportedly had disagreements with his fellow bigarasha, apparently over money, and one of them is heard insisting that they should never be questioned about Kabera’s blood. After Kabera openly expressed his love for President Kagame, he allegedly faced backlash from the opposition. Now that he is dead, the same people are quick to point fingers at Rwanda, exploiting his death to tarnish the country’s image without first establishing the facts. Do they honestly think we have forgotten Ben Rutabana and the allegations surrounding his disappearance with Kayumba Nyamwasa? Why should one set of allegations be conveniently ignored while another is immediately weaponised against Rwanda? Nobody should be above questioning, and nobody should be condemned without evidence. If the opposition genuinely wants justice for Kabera, let them support a credible investigation instead of turning his death into another political propaganda campaign. We need facts, not hypocrisy and selective outrage!

**Happy Birthday to His Excellency President Paul Kagame! 🇷🇼❤️** Today, we celebrate not only your birthday but also the leadership, determination, and vision that have shaped Rwanda’s journey. Your unwavering commitment to national unity, security, development, and the dignity of the Rwandan people continues to inspire many. Rwanda’s journey reminds us that a nation’s future is not determined by its past, but by the courage, discipline, and determination with which its people build tomorrow. May this new year of your life bring you good health, renewed strength, wisdom, and continued success as you serve the nation. May Rwanda continue to advance in peace, prosperity, innovation, and international recognition, with its people remaining united in their pursuit of a brighter future. Happy Birthday, Mr. PRESIDENT. May God bless you with many more years of life, strength, and wisdom. May the Rwandan flag continue to fly high, and may the spirit of *Agaciro* our national dignity continue to guide Rwanda’s journey toward greater heights. Long live Rwanda! This is the kind of tweet that trashes anti-#Rwanda garbage propaganda thrown on social media. I always say it there is no opposition on social media, we are just dealing with hooligans who make noises.
Let’s be sensible for once! The 10,000 custom T-shirts were reportedly printed in Rwanda by Rwandans, supporting local businesses, creating employment opportunities, and stimulating domestic production. These are garments people can wear, not money thrown into a furnace. The estimated $50,000–$100,000 cost remains an estimate, not proof of the actual expenditure or corruption. Likewise, the claim that the money could have purchased over 200,000 meals is a hypothetical comparison, not evidence that starving citizens were denied those meals because of this event. Have some sense of understanding for at least once!

How exactly do you distinguish the ethnic groups you’re talking about? Are you judging people by their physical appearance, beauty, or intelligence? Who determines who looks good or bad, and how does any of that establish someone’s ethnicity? A national army should be judged by evidence of its recruitment practices, professionalism, and fairness not by stereotypes or assumptions about people’s appearance. Your argument is bizarre and raises more questions than it answers.
A national army should represent the entire nation, not the interests of one ethnic group. Equal representation is not a slogan; it is a matter of fairness. #Uganda #Rwanda
