Iryna Zarutska was a #Ukrainian #refugee who fled the harrowing violence of war, only to meet a senseless end while seeking safety.
The sheer absurdity and cruelty of her death -fleeing bombs only to be felled by a random act of violence on a train journey -struck a chord in me.

This is a very real and present issue for us all. We are faced with our daughter and future son-in-law not being able to afford or find a home to rent or buy when they get married next year. It is disgraceful that the Aussie dream is no longer reachable for our kids!

Unsustainable immigration is one of the strongest drivers of Australia's housing crisis.
Australians can no longer afford the homes they want for their families. They are forced into debt or poverty to pay their mortgages or rent. Sadly, more and more Aussies are being driven into homelessness.
Yet Labor has only increased the overall rate of immigration, making the problem significantly worse.
The Liberal and National parties are also guilty of allowing the rate of immigration to remain too high during their time in government.
And the housing crisis is just one of the issues caused by damaging immigration. It also leads to wage suppression, increased unemployment, and puts a strain on our infrastructure, schools, and hospitals.
To make matters worse, when Labor stops vetting migrants for high-risk areas, the security and social cohesion of Australia are put at risk.
For all these reasons and more, One Nation believes in a responsible net-zero immigration policy.
If we stop the overwhelming flood of immigration, our nation will have time to rebuild, and our economy can recover from its addiction to unsustainable immigration to drive GDP growth.

Today we attended the #keepthesheep rally in Perth to raise awareness for city folk about what the @AlboMP government and @MurrayWatt are up to with banning live export of sheep. This is a huge blow to agriculture in Australia and needs to be stopped!
