What I love about $KAS: The community continued building even when hitting new lows. We're here with conviction, not just worried about short term price. I'm bullish on #Kaspa because of the unmatched community

$BTC / $KAS I am presenting this chart to the community to document a set of relationships and allow each reader to draw individual inferences from the evidence. I invite fact checking, corrections, and additional primary-source evidence. To what extent was the early development of Bitcoin’s architecture shaped by persuasion, institutional influence, censorship, or intentional coercion? My broader theory is fundamentally Hayekian: layering a monetary base invites the political and institutional machinations that have repeatedly emerged around money, whether the base is gold or Bitcoin. These layers may provide genuine technical benefits, but they also create institutions, economic interests, and points of discretion between individuals and final settlement. Wherever such discretion emerges, so does the potential for monetary power to become concentrated in institutions rather than dispersed among market participants. This is why the relationships shown in the chart matter to my thesis. During the period in which Bitcoin’s scaling architecture was being contested, a network of banks, developers, business investors existed around that debate. The chart documents those relationships; it does not establish that they collectively determined Bitcoin’s scaling path. Rather, it raises the question central to my argument: if a monetary architecture makes additional layers economically necessary for scale, does it also create new institutional positions from which economic interests and discretionary influence can emerge? The connections shown are evidence; their significance is for the reader to judge. Bitcoin’s scaling dispute ultimately presented 2 competing responses to the limitations of its base layer architecture: constrain L1 capacity and move increasing economic activity into higher layers, or increase block size and transfer greater resource requirements to node operators. Neither approach fundamentally changes the underlying linear blockchain architecture. My thesis is therefore that the most politically neutral digital monetary architecture would address the layering of money by sufficiently resolving the decentralization-security-scalability trilemma at the base layer, preserving decentralized verification and security while enabling scalable settlement. Such an architecture would minimize the economic necessity for trusted intermediaries and discretionary authority above the protocol. In the Hayekian sense, the objective is not to find better monetary layers, but to construct a monetary system in which layers are optional rather than economically necessary. I surmise that the deeper constraint is the linear blockchain architecture itself. Increasing block size expands capacity, but it does not eliminate the relationship between throughput and the resources required for independent verification. Simply increasing blocks from 1 MB to 8 MB, 32 MB, or eventually much larger sizes scales the existing architecture rather than introducing a fundamentally different scaling mechanism. As throughput grows, the burden of scaling is increasingly transferred to node operators, who must accommodate greater computational, bandwidth, storage, and synchronization requirements etc. ---------------------------------------------------------- REFERENCES 1. $KAS So first voice calls and video calls on KaChat using Nextcloud Talk was conducted with @brt2412 The reaction was this is better than FaceTime on Apple. 🔥 NextCloud is an open source self hosted cloud. As long as 1 person in your chat is running it on their server. Either end can make and receive calls. Every call conducts about 4 $KAS transactions in your chat to record the call logs. Encrypted. Coming to KaChat 5.0

1/10 Kaspa is joining the global payment standard for the internet. x402 founded by Coinbase and Cloudflare, now a Linux Foundation project is becoming the default way AI agents pay for APIs and data. This week, a kaspa:native binding is ready for upstream submission. Here's why it matters. 🧵

You can run escrow on-chain with Kaspa covenants. Lock funds with rules for how they can be paid out. A third party authorizes a payment to the buyer or seller. The contract checks their signature, who gets paid and how much. This example uses an arbiter. You can build other escrow designs by changing the rules for how funds are released.

DAGKNIGHT is a proposed replacement for GHOSTDAG, Kaspa’s current consensus protocol. Blocks take time to reach other miners. GHOSTDAG accounts for that with a preset delay assumption, which influences confirmation times even when the network is running smoothly. DAGKNIGHT orders blocks without needing that delay bound fixed in advance. Its consensus can adapt as network conditions change. Still in development.

🚨🗣️ Steven Gerrard questions Luis De La Fuente for making David Raya third choice: "How is Raya the best goalkeeper in the world and at the same time the third choice in Spain's goalkeeper hierarchy? To make it worst, Raya made zero appearance in the world cup" "That's the craziest thing I've ever seen in the past five years" "And if it was not majorly Raya's contribution, Arsenal wouldn't have won the league and reach the champions league final"

For everyone wondering I'm still in kaspa:native, nothing changed. I do believe it will make a new ATH in the next bull run. Developing disruptive technology like what Kaspa is building takes time and the signs I'm seeing are still good and in the right direction. Patience.
