Here is a picture of Abd al-Ghaffar Katbeh Badr, the headmaster of the orphanage/school. When he was expelled in 1948 by Israeli forces (with shots fired behind them), he sought refuge in Damascus, Syria where he opened a new orphanage & named it the Deir Yasin Institute to honour Palestinians who were massacred by Zionists. He lived till the age of 100 & worked as an education minister for UNRWA.

I’ve been learning so much about green colonialism in Palestine from Dr. Ghada Sasa. Worth a follow.
Here are some pictures of Palestinians who once inhabited the villages where Israeli forests are dying. These are from Dayr 'Amr where all the houses actually remain and an orphanage/school that was created for children of breadwinners who were killed in the 1936 Revolt against the British was converted into the Israeli mental hospital Eytanim in 1952. Some of its lands were afforested by Israel.

Mohammad Hesham is on the front lines of Israel's crimes against humanity. Support him if you can 🫶
I have been arrested more than three times in my life. The first time, I was only 14 years old. I didn’t understand what was happening—dozens of soldiers stormed my village and took me without any charge. What accusation could there be against a 14 years old child?
Since then, I have been arrested multiple times and detained dozens of times. This continues to happen because I choose to speak the truth. I document what is happening in my community—home demolitions, attacks, and the ongoing efforts to displace and destroy my community Masafer Yatta.
I will continue to document. I will continue to speak.

Let that sink in:
In two years, I faced more sanctions and threats from the EU and the German government than a state that killed 20,000+ children, launched illegal wars on 4 countries and is committing a genocide.
Everyone should read this part of the @EUCouncil lawyers’ reply to my appeal before the General Court: they explicitly state they are not obliged to demonstrate current links to Russia in order to impose severe sanctions on a person — including me for my journalism

In 1982, Israel formed the Kahan Commission to investigate (and cover up) the Sabra and Shatila massacre. The commission concluded that Ariel Sharon should resign from his position as Minister of Defense.
19 years later, the "Butcher of Beirut" became Israel's prime minister.

QUESTION: Has a single MP resigned from Labour Friends of Israel in protest/disgust at the GENOCIDE it has carried out in Gaza, or at its other war crimes and crimes against humanity?
If not, WHY NOT?

"A French woman recounts the Israeli genocide in Gaza:
We found a single mass grave in Gaza containing 300 people.
Small children were killed with their hands tied behind their backs.
Then they come out and claim that Israeli soldiers are the most moral in the world."!
Repost this. Please I beg you

The Nazis of Tel Aviv slaughtered this couple. They actually flattened the high rise building in which they were residing in an upper class neighborhood in West Beirut, very close to the official residence of the speaker of parliament. Khatoun Salma was famous: she won the Arabic poetry prize in the TV star search program, Studio Al-Fann in the 1970s. Zionism manages to educate every new generation of Arabs about the savagery of Israel.

My heart is heavy tonight going through instagram and whatsapp stories. Everyone I know in Lebanon lost someone today. Some lost entire families. Babies, mothers, sisters, brothers and friends. Gone. This is not a “war on Hezbollah”. This is a war on Lebanon and Lebanese people.
Head of Iranian Jewish Community on Rubbles of Israeli-Hit Synagogue:
“Shameful” “All the Israeli regime’s claims about defending Jews are nothing more than a shameful lie,” said Rabbi Younes Hamami Lalehzar, calling Israel's attack on a synagogue in a residential area an “inhumane and terrorist” act.
