5-3 at my first Worlds with Skeledirge and Ninetales 🔥❄️
Huge thanks to @tomcheung22 for cooking with me, and to all of my friends for the practice
At Worlds, I had the privilege of witnessing my friend appear on stream, become an instant meme, and beat the VGC GOAT to make Day 2.
Read all about his surreal experience in his team report 👇
My Team Report X War Story for the 2026 Pokemon World Championships is here! Wondering how I pulled off the upset against the GOAT, or how my first Worlds ever turned into a historic Day 2? Read all about it here!

Mark my words, this guy is gonna top cut real soon 👀
So happy that our hard work paid off, I had so much fun thinking of gameplans and optimizing the sets!
Ended 47th at Frankfurt regional with a 9-4 record! So happy I finally got to be on stream for the first time!! Massive shoutout to @kauVGC for helping me with preparing and building the team. Also a massive thanks to all my friends who were cheering me on ❤️
I went undefeated in swiss and top cut Hong Kong MBL (Nationals) with Miraidon Ho-oh and Jolly Ursaluna!
The CSR Zama matchup is so free 😌
Shoutout to @adisubra for the original team and @tomcheung22

Top 8 with Bikes Perish playing against some of the best players in HK in the Masters Eight tournament, getting a medal and some prize money was cool! This team is very rewarding to get right

Top 16 in Hong Kong Master Ball League!
Unfortunately I didn't attend Day 2, so I couldn't take the team all the way.
I'm proud to have top cut the past 3 HK tours I've attended!
The team is really good, try it for NAIC!

Major thanks and happy birthday to Hong Kong's biggest chef @tomcheung22
We had many practice sets where Jimmy (my Grimmsnarl) paralyzed his mons to oblivion.
Our dream was to go to worlds together, but it wasn't meant to be this year. In any case, we'll come back stronger 💪
Special shoutout to Marcus for lending me his Calyrex, and @PSYSPAMM1NG for jumpscaring us at MBL
I'll be rooting for @ZeBanded in the Taiwan MBL! 🙌
Top 4 in Druddigon Cup with Wo-chien and Ability Shield Pelipper! 🐌🛡️
This team was heavily inspired by @JoeUX9 and my fellow Tang @tsltang0508
Shoutout to @tomcheung22 and @Kabunger_VG for cooking with me!
Not related to VGC, but watch me take on the Run & Bun Elite 4 in a Hardcore Nuzlocke!

Congratulations to @PYekai0904, Hong Kong's first Pokemon World Champion! I'm proud to be a Hongkonger 🇭🇰
TPC, please give us VGC players a better circuit next year. APAC players deserve more chances! 🙏
🎊 ATTENTION TRAINERS 🎊
Yekai0904 is officially your #PokemonGO 2024 World Champion! 🏆 #PokemonWorlds
I got Top 8 at Hong Kong nationals, earning a Worlds invite in my second year of competing!
While I'm happy about the result, I'm not a fan of Single Elimination - we need a better circuit in Asia.
Huge shoutout to my friends @tomcheung22 @ZeBanded @Kabunger_VG @StarSapphireVGC
