Sreading fertilizer on a KB annual ryegrass field today. Spring is here in Oregon! #CoverCrop #Ryegrass #AgChat

The first time I’ve seen the sun in a week. Praying for people who lost everything and the firefighters trying to stop the forest fires. It is very smoky and we’re looking for clear skies and normal life. #AgChat #CoverCrops #Ryegrass

Mice and voles were a huge problem for seed harvest this year! My last field to combine for this year. Hoping for a hard winter to rid us of the rest of his buddies! #CoverCrop #AgChat #Ryegrass #Harvest20

It’s a long story.... But this is a dust mask/ head covering. This is a necessity (while setting the combine) when you have to keep your head clean because of 12 staple you just had removed this morning! #BeSafe #Ryegrass #AgChat #CoverCrop #Harvest20

As the world celebrates #EarthDay, 90% of grass seed produced in OR is exported around the US and the world. Grass makes #Forage for livestock, land cover to stop erosion and #recycle nutrients, produces Oxygen while storing carbon. Every day is Earth Day on Our Farm! #AgChat

As #EarthDay approaches, did you know a 5’ x 5’ area of grass produces enough oxygen for one person to breath for 1 year! #CoverCrops #AgChat #Ryegrass

As #EarthDay approaches this week, the world needs to understand how agriculture and the American farmer are contributing to a healthy planet. Creating oxygen, storing carbon and growing food make everyone’s life better! #AgChat #CoverCrop #Ryegrass

Because of the health situation that we are all in now. I have self isolated myself to the fertilizer spreader. Putting on our spring nitrogen on KB annual #ryegrass. #KnowYourProducer #AgChat #CoverCrop
