Looks like someone is trying to build immunity. Wait...
Im at Costco. Complete chaos with everyone buying coronavirus essentials (tp, Lysol, etc). The person next to me might have misunderstood what they were supposed to stock up on.

“Mostly, people build what they’ve been waiting years for someone else to make.” @mukundjha talked with @amitchowdhry at @pulse2news about what Emergent sees from non-technical builders, from last year’s VibeCon winners to a factory owner in Mexico running a roughly 500-person operation on a custom ERP he built himself. VibeCon returns Oct. 24-25 at Y Combinator in San Francisco, with judges and mentors from @ycombinator, @AnthropicAI, @awscloud and @MongoDB. It gives you a chance grab a direct interview with YC. If you’re thinking about it, apply by Oct. 20. Apply: vibecon.com/

Every app built on Emergent (18M+ and counting) runs on @MongoDB Atlas. Starting today, Pro and Enterprise teams can connect their own Atlas org and run Emergent-built apps in infrastructure they already own. Our agents handle the provisioning. Emergent co-founder @madhavjha Jha joined @bencefalo at @MongoDB’s Investor Day at @Nasdaq today to talk about Emergent’s partnership with MongoDB. 💚 More than 18 million apps have been built on Emergent by more than 15 million users. Most of those users start without a fully formed idea, so their apps change as they build, and the database has to keep up. “When we started Emergent, we tested other database setups and found our agents kept getting stuck on migrations and ongoing maintenance. We ran evals, and moving to a document database made those problems go away. MongoDB was the clear choice. That matters because most of our users aren’t developers. They can’t fix a broken database migration, so the stack underneath has to handle it for them. The same foundation has to hold up as the stakes rise. Enterprise customers use Emergent to ship business-critical apps to their own users, and MongoDB gives us the uptime and scale to support them.” Thanks to Ben and the @MongoDB team for having us. 💚

We brought VibeCity to Paris and here's how it went! For our first chapter, builders, founders, operators, and business owners came together with a simple question: What if you could just build the thing you wish existed? The room had people from different industries, each bringing a different problem they wanted to solve. And by the end of the evening, they had working tools to take home. That’s what VibeCity is about: a community where ambitious people bring the problems they’ve been thinking about and leave with something they can actually use. Paris was chapter one. There’s more to build

Emergent is now available as a connector inside Claude for Small Business, making it easier to turn a business idea into a working app. Now, when you’re already using Claude to think through a problem, plan a process, or figure out how your business could work better, you can build that idea with Emergent, right there.

Our product marketer built the app that ran a 300+ person builder event. He's never written a line of code. He described what he needed, on Emergent, and it shipped: check-in, RSVP tracking, a live venue heat map. This is what building on Emergent actually looks like.

Businesses have always adapted to the software available to them. For the first time, the person closest to the problem can build the solution themselves. We looked at 50k+ live apps operators have built and deployed on @emergentlabs, to understand who's out there building, and what it means for where all of this is headed.
