We had 5 open kennels for dogs to start the day, and as of 4:00pm, 30 new dogs have come in today. We are in need of foster homes to help make space for these new arrivals. Visit kcpetproject.org/programs/fo… and fill out our foster sign up and book an appointment.

Please say hello to the newest #Hokies (and #Huskers) fan!
We named him Robert. He is almost 2 years old and was found without a collar or microchip. We don’t think he’s ever had a home.
A huge THANK YOU to @kcpetproject for taking care of him before we could pick him up. Woof! – at Overland Park, KS

Temperatures are supposed to climb higher and higher this week, so this is a great time to remember how to keep your pets safe in this heat. Our Animal Services Team is getting calls on pets that are outside and handing out resources to help pets in our community stay cool.
