What is the need of bringing caste-wise subsidy for solar energy? Is there a political demand for this? Is this a mandatory legislative requirement?

Watching Elon Musk this week has been a fascinating character study in the saviour complex of Western tech billionaires.
They arrive in your country selling you the future. Welcome them, and you’re a country that wants progress. Make them wait, and suddenly your people are victims who need rescuing from their own institutions by the chosen one.
It’s a pattern. When Thai rescuers didn’t use the mini-submarine Musk sent for the trapped boys, and diver Vernon Unsworth called the idea impractical, Musk attacked him as the “pedo guy.”
When Brazil’s Supreme Court ordered X to comply with its rulings, Musk called the judge a “dictator.”
The script rarely changes. Only the country does.
The colonial mindset isn’t always about wanting to rule a country. Sometimes it’s the assumption that you arrive as its saviour, and if the country doesn’t immediately recognise you as one, something must be wrong with the country.

Are you, Double Dholki accepting that your Masters have failed to do so? That they are not using the brute force they use against GCs and Hindus at large for CJP?

There was a time when the conversation around Indian manufacturing was mostly about cost and scale.
Today, companies like Bharat Forge are increasingly becoming part of global aerospace supply chains.
A long-term Pratt & Whitney Canada programme for mission-critical engine components, manufactured in India, is a good example of that shift.
India isn't just building for its own market anymore.
It is increasingly building for the world.

Actually the history of this comes from the land reforms act in 61-62. Some communities like bunts from Mangalore and Udupi were large land owners and agriculturist. Due to land ceiling act a whole generation of them got displaced from their farms and had to find new livelihood. Many became doctors and professionals. Others moved to Mumbai and did what they know best, worked first in bars and restaurants and Udupi tiffin places. Some did ice cream. Due to their natural entrepreneurial skills and street smarts they dominated the food and hospitality industry in Mumbai over one more generation. They make Udupi style because it’s what they understand. They may thrive because it suits the gujju palate but it wasn’t completely intentional.

Lots of disgruntlement erupting among buyers who purchased "plotted land" from select brands - as they now get delivery. They realising the footprint of the house will be too limited on small plots of 1000-1500sqft.

Meanwhile, hundreds of 1000 year old Hindu temples under @ASIGoI languish and cry out for basic maintenance. Guessing, it is the ‘tyranny of distance’ that makes corporates spend crores on renovating Islamic tombs, while so many Hindu temples only have a rusting ASI board as the only sign of ‘maintenance’
Such a pleasure and a delight to experience the new Humayun Tomb Museum and the Restored Gardens. The gardens are a wonderful breathing lung in the heart of Delhi .
@AKF_Global and Rateesh Nanda have done a remarkable job in bringing together the monument, the gardens, artefacts and stories of Delhi.

Is NCERT following precisely this kind of cultural erasure?
Consider NCERT Class XII History, Part 1, Chapter 3, “Kinship, Caste and Class: Early Societies (c. 600 BCE–600 CE),” which runs from pages 53 to 81.
In this 27-page chapter, the terms “Brahmanical,” “Brahmanas” and “Brahmana” appear 44 times.
Yet the texts discussed are not described even once as “sacred” or “holy.”
The word “Hindu” appears only once, and even that occurrence is in a negative context.
This is not merely a question of terminology. Repeatedly describing Hindu sacred literature as “Brahmanical” can have a profound effect on how young students understand their own civilisational heritage.
It leads the Hindu students into believing:
1.Hindu knowledge systems and sacred texts belong primarily to Brahmins, rather than being part of the intellectual and spiritual heritage of Hindus as a whole.
2.Hindus outside the Brahmin community are alienated from their own traditions, despite the diverse social backgrounds attributed to many of the sages and teachers associated with India's intellectual traditions.
3.Once people are intellectually separated from their own knowledge traditions and scriptures, their civilisational self-confidence is weakened, leaving them more vulnerable to ideologies that portray their own heritage negatively.
4.The consequences are visible in contemporary student discourse, where slogans such as “Brahmanism” and “Brahmanvad” are increasingly used as shorthand for hostility towards Hindu traditions.
The fundamental question is simple:
If the authors and traditional followers of these scriptures did not describe their own sacred literature as “Brahmanical,”
on what basis does a modern textbook impose this nomenclature?
Why should a school textbook take the liberty of replacing a civilisation's own vocabulary with terminology that can divide that civilisation into competing social categories?
Many of the scholars associated with this intellectual tradition have gone on to teach at leading Indian universities.
What is being taught in classrooms today will shape how the next generation understands its own civilisation.
Language shapes identity. Terminology shapes memory.
And the systematic removal of a civilisation's own vocabulary can ultimately reshape how that civilisation understands itself.
NCERT appears to be deploying a powerful Marxist-missionary-style toolkit:
“𝗧𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆.”

Gerard Aungier invited all communities but it was only the Konkanis (and to a lesser extent the Bhatias) that took up his offer & came to Bombay. 11 Konkani families hailing from Goa & the Konkan are responsible for developing trade & business in the city.
Konkanis are an ancient Hindu trading community operating along the Western Coast & Peninsular India comprising groups like the Gauda Saraswat Brahmins, Daivadnya Brahmins (also known as Sonars/Sheths) & the Vaishya Vanis. In the late medieval/early modern era Konkanis utilised Bombay and Goa as free trade ports for global trade connecting with the Maratha hinterland like Desh and Malwa. They also ran a Merchant's Republic in the South Canara town of Basrur which drew the attention of the Portuguese & the Maratha King Shivaji.
These 11 families were hereditary owners of the Walkeshwar temple till the GSB Temple Trust was established. The Konkanis dominated trade in Bombay City till the 1860s. Famous Merchant Princes from this clique include the first one Narayana Shenvi Dabholkar (also a diplomat & witness to the coronation of Shivaji), Rama Kamati (Rama Kamat Lotlikar), the Gulgules (also having a branch in Kota & Gwalior) & lastly the famous Jagannath Sunkersett. These families played the leading role in the development of markets & trade in the city especially laying the first market of the city at Bhuleshwar & it's surrounding markets focused on grains especially rice, fruits & vegetables, silk & cloth, bullion, jewellery & diamonds, timber, furniture & opium. They also established banking networks that had a presence within Coastal, Peninsular & Central India as well as in Yemen & Portuguese & British territories.
Their domination in trade continued till the 1860s when a combination of factors (their supposed support to 1857 Revolt, mass migration of Vanis & Shravaks following earthquakes in Sorath and Kutch and social issues with Marathi Brahmins following the Vishnu Wagh Case) led to their displacement as the dominant factor in the city's economy. The Cotton Boom of the 1860s & 1870s created a new set of elites who have dominated the city & nation's economy since then. All mainstream narratives of the development of trade & enterprise in Bombay often begin from this period overlooking the past (probably in an attempt to preserve the status quo).
It should be noted here that while the Konkanis were always prized diplomats owing to their warm relations with multiple political powers & mastery of various languages, their relationship with the British had it's ups & downs. Rama Kamat Lotlikar's enormous wealth was confiscated in an elaborate scheme (that included the then Governor of Bombay Charles Boone) based on forged documents alleging his support to Kanhoji Angre. He was imprisoned & he died in prison after 8 years in 1720. After his death he was proved innocent & his family was paid compensation (more on the case in comments). Similarly Jagannath Sunkersett was imprisoned for being a supporter & financier of the Peshwa claimant Nana Saheb in 1858. However, the charge could never be proved.
Goa also provided a similar business environment & the Mhamai Kamat of Goa who are referred to by the Portuguese as the richest family/trading house in the early 1700s having large business interests in the Middle East, Europe and the Americas.
The information I presented can be read in detail in the writings of Suryanath U Kamath, Sanjay Subrahmanyam, Mumbai che Varnan (Description of Bombay) by G.N. Madgaonkar & the writings of Shenoi Goembab.
In the early medieval period Bombay was settled by the Pathare Prabhus & the Yadav prince Bimbadev. I would recommend the translation of the Mahikavitichi Bakhar by @SDahisarkar for this period.
For trivia about Bombay I would suggest following the work of @dhavalkulkarni & @BharGo8
Attached a short video in Konkani by @shreekashimath & @YouthofGsb on Rama Kamati.
