@Ameritas do you want to explain why you're backcharging me thousands of dollars for dental work that you approved earlier this year? I was on maternity leave all of last school year, and assumed my own insurance had lapsed 1/?

How is it my fault that you guys paid out claims you shouldn't have? How was I supposed to know the insurance had lapsed when it was still showing as active? If the policy was canceled when it should have been, I could've paid with my husband's FSA $ 4/?

Absolutely ridiculous that I'm not expected to pay back thousands of $$$ in claims that were APPROVED. Please contact me @Ameritas to make this right.

Another teacher asked if I would add her kids to my study hall this period for coverage $$$, and literally said "I would prefer not to" and I laughed to myself feeling all Bartleby the Scrivener.

Have to change a whole class's seating after too many of them made noises through each other's presentations even AFTER I gave the 'wow, i'm disappointed' speech. Too much for a Monday morning when I'm dragging around a cantaloupe inside of me.

Holy shit. Rep. Jamaal Bowman is directly calling out Republican members of Congress as they walk out of the Capitol building right now. We need to confront & expose every one of them. Make them answer. This is leadership and truly amazing.

The first things that popped in my head: the pandemic, standardized testing, safety concerns, active shooter drills, knowing student loan debt is in the future, etc. We’re asking our kids to have expert level resilience. Maybe not caring is actually burn out?
