Every one of these was done to people like you by a careful doctor following the rules. 1915: healthy teeth pulled by the mouthful, then the tonsils, to cure arthritis and madness. It was the standard of care. 1925: X-rays aimed at babies' chests to shrink a gland that was a perfectly normal size. The cancers turned up decades later. It was the standard of care. 1935: mothers drugged through labour, strapped to the bed with their heads padded, and sent home with no memory of the birth. It was the standard of care. 1940: electric shocks through the brain with no anaesthetic and no muscle relaxant, strong enough to fracture the patient's spine. It was the standard of care. 1948: premature babies kept in high oxygen as routine. It blinded about 10,000 of them. It was the standard of care. 1955: women in Irish maternity hospitals had the pelvis sawn open in labour in place of a caesarean, and were not asked. It was the standard of care. 1970: the whole breast, the chest muscle and the armpit removed for a lump a smaller operation would have dealt with. It was the standard of care. 1985: newborns given open-heart surgery awake, paralysed so they could not move, with no pain relief, because babies were held not to feel pain. It was the standard of care. None of it was fringe. A doctor who refused to do any of those could be sued for negligence, and the expert witness against him would have been quoting the textbook. Standard of care describes what everybody is doing. It has never described whether it works, and the two get compared about once a generation, usually at an inquiry.

Poland and Romania have now stated it directly: no more capacity, no more transit, no more help moving Ukrainian grain through Europe. The Black Sea is blockaded. Russian strikes keep hitting Ukrainian ports. And the two neighbors Kyiv should be able to count on are hiding behind their own farmers and their own overwhelmed infrastructure. Romanian Agriculture Minister Barna Tanczos says the influx of Ukrainian grain, combined with low water levels on the Danube, has left Romanian ports unable to function. Local farmers cannot sell their own harvests. So Bucharest closes the door. The Polish Infrastructure Ministry says there are no plans to increase transit of Ukrainian agricultural products. No plans. While Ukraine is being strangled at sea, Warsaw offers nothing but a shrug. Taras Vysotskyi, Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy, went to Brussels asking for increased EU transit and €1. 1 billion to cover rising logistics costs. Without that money, Ukrainian farmers cannot begin the sowing season. The numbers are brutal: Less than half of export volume currently moves through EU land and river routes. Up to 35 million tons of grain could remain stranded inside Ukraine. The area planted for the upcoming season could shrink by 35 to 40 percent. This is food security for countries across Africa and the Middle East that depend on Ukrainian grain. Economic survival matters just as much for a country fighting a full-scale war. Poland and Romania are not neutral bystanders. They are EU members who benefit from a security architecture Ukraine is bleeding to defend. Their refusal to expand transit is shameful. The blockade works because Russia only needs a few weak links. Right now, two of those weak links are in Warsaw and Bucharest.

🚨 BREAKING / BATTLEFIELD UPDATE: 🔱 According to the latest maps from pro-Kremlin military blog Rybar, Ukrainian counteroffensives are gaining significant momentum across all major fronts. 🔱 The blue advance vectors clearly show Ukrainian forces driving forward to liberate more occupied territory in the Lyman, Slovyansk, and Dnipropetrovsk/Zaporizhia sectors. 🔱 Even enemy-aligned sources can no longer obscure Ukraine's front-wide initiative. 🇺🇦 #UkraineWar #Lyman #Slovyansk #Counteroffensive #Rybar #Ukraine #MilitaryUpdate

Moscow protested against the tsar. Police rushed straight at teenagers. People screamed: “Don’t touch the children. You kill children in this war every day.” Are they finally realizing their own kids will be mobilized next?

People have lost their fucking minds over food. I honestly don’t care what anybody eats. Live on cereal, vegan sausages and oat milk if that’s what you want to do. But don’t tell me that eating real food is the dangerous option. I eat meat. “That much red meat can’t be good for you.” I eat eggs. “Every day?!” I cook in beef fat. “You need to worry about your cholesterol.” I don’t eat bread. “You need carbohydrates for energy.” I don’t eat fibre. “You must shit bricks.” Apparently I’m about three fry-ups away from death. Meanwhile we’ve got fake meat made from a list of ingredients that takes half the packet to print. Milk that didn’t come from an animal. Protein bars with fake sugar and seed oils. Breakfast cereals with synthetic vitamins added back in and low-fat crap covered in marketing words like “healthy”, “plant based” and “high protein”. And that’s normal? Nobody bats an eyelid. But put a steak on a plate with four eggs and suddenly everyone has concerns. The brainwashing has worked so well. People will confidently tell me that meat is dangerous while pushing a trolley full of shit that didn’t even exist 100 years ago. And they’re absolutely certain about it. They don’t use their fucking brains anymore to question anything. Look at how many people are obese. Look at how common type 2 diabetes and fatty liver have become. But let’s focus on heart disease because it’’s supposed to be caused by cholesterol. Nothing to do with amount sugar and carbs they are shoving into their bodies all day long. They have somehow decided the problem is beef, eggs and butter. Open your eyes! Something has gone very wrong with what we’ve been taught to call normal. How the hell did we get to a point where real food became extreme and factory-made food became normal? Rant over 🤣

Your regular reminder that making money for themselves and the Trump family, no matter the human cost, has *always* been the only goal of Witkoff and Kushner: nitter.cf/P_Kallioniemi/status/2…
In today’s Vatnik Soup, we’ll introduce an American billionaire, real estate developer, and wannabe diplomat, Steve Witkoff. He’s best known for trying to sell Ukraine to Putin and for helping Trump sell this treason and encouragement of genocidal war as “peace”. 1/20

Black Bird Group has now published the September territorial balance. The number is minus 190 square kilometers for Russia. This marks the largest monthly net loss of occupied territory since June 2023. It did not happen by accident. The chart tells the story better than any briefing. Monthly change bars swing negative. The cumulative line flattens. Russia spent 2024 converting manpower into square kilometers. In September 2025, the process reversed. Two Ukrainian operations produced most of the shift. • Around Lyman, Ukrainian counterattacks cut into Russian-held ground and forced a net contraction of the occupied zone. • Toward Komar, on the western edge of Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian forces pushed into areas Russia had treated as secure rear territory. At the same time, the Russian advance toward Kramatorsk and Sloviansk slowed to a crawl. Moscow now gains little from the northern Donetsk front it once called its main effort. The Vivaldi operation deserves separate attention because the dataset understates it. Vivaldi ran through the summer, but the main evidence and public reporting only surfaced this autumn. Ukrainian forces deliberately concealed the scale of the operation while it was ongoing. That means part of the territorial loss Black Bird Group assigns to September almost certainly occurred in earlier months. The map is a snapshot, not a retroactive correction. The operational picture is now clear. This year Russian advances have been extremely limited on every front. The only modest success came in the Kramatorsk direction. Everywhere else the offensive has stalled or reversed. Ukraine has achieved local successes in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, in Zaporizhzhia, and now in northern Donetsk. Russia is moving further from its stated war aims. The goal of seizing all of Donetsk Oblast by 2027 is becoming less realistic with each monthly dataset. Moscow may attempt another limited mobilization to restore momentum, and it has already begun testing the systems and institutions required for that. But the political cost inside Russia remains high, and a final decision appears not to have been made. The front now works in more than one direction. It is now a contested space where Ukraine can take ground back and hold it.

It’s worse than bubonic plague. It’s pneumonic plague, which is way more contagious. Given russia's long history of covering up and minimizing institutional disasters, the world doesn’t have the luxury of turning a blind eye. It is time to confine russia and treat the aggressors not just as terrorists, but as a direct health threat to humanity. Complete isolation is the only option.
Unleashing the biggest war in Europe since World War II wasn't evil enough for Russia, now they've started spreading the goddamn bubonic plague again.

The refinery strikes were never about gas prices. That was cover. Now we know why Trump keeps demanding Ukraine stop hitting Russian energy infrastructure. A multibillion-dollar Lukoil deal is on the table. Witkoff and Kushner are tied to the middlemen. The scheme is simple. A Trump proxy buys sanctioned Russian oil assets. Sanctions get lifted on those specific assets. Putin sells more oil through them. The family collects hundreds of millions a year. Ukraine's strikes on refineries threaten the payout. So the White House protects the loot. It pressures Kyiv to stop hitting the one target that actually works.

A Russian war criminal who tortured at least 50 Ukrainian POWs in Tula’s Penal Colony No. 1 just got his own special sendoff. Roman Syromiatnikov’s car exploded on October 2. He beat prisoners with fists, rubber batons, plastic pipes, hammers, and stun guns in 2022. Then he signed a contract and fought against Ukraine. Came back to Tula Oblast for “treatment” in late November 2024. The treatment didn’t take.

I’ve worked out why they don’t want us eating bacon! We’re supposed to be terrified of the nitrates in bacon because the WHO says processed meat is carcinogenic. So people nodded, agreed and repeated the headlines like good little sheep. Except nitrate does something rather inconvenient once it gets inside the human body. Nitrate can become nitrite, and nitrite can become nitric oxide. And nitric oxide is very useful. It helps your blood vessels relax and widen, regulates blood flow and blood pressure, affects platelet function and plays an important role in keeping the lining of your blood vessels working properly. So naturally we must avoid nitrates at all costs. Unless they’re in beetroot. Then apparently we fucking love them. We squeeze beetroot into little concentrated shots and sell them to runners and cyclists specifically because dietary nitrate increases nitric oxide availability. There are entire studies looking at nitrate supplementation for exercise performance and vascular function. So if Paul puts on Lycra and necks a concentrated nitrate shot before cycling 60 miles, he’s looking after himself. If I put bacon next to two eggs, somebody starts predicting my bowel cancer announcement. The cholesterol is bad. The saturated fat is bad. The salt is bad. The meat is bad. And apparently I need nitrate free bacon because the nitrites are bad too. But I’ve got a new conspiracy theory. Maybe they know exactly what nitric oxide does to blood vessels. Can’t have us all wandering around eating bacon with functioning arteries. Who the fuck are they going to sell all the statins to?

Trump is found to have paid for most of the January 6th protestors. Jack Smith's new document drop shows that the Trump Campaign PAID for travel, hotels, expenses and organizing efforts to bring outside radical organizers to the Capitol on January 6th. Trump and his lackeys planned the assault on our Capitol.
