Happy to announce that KENSAT is integrated onto Exolaunch's Transporter-18 deployer. It is go for launch.
As far as I'm aware of it - this is the first CubeSat launched end-to-end by an individual.
OWN ATOMS NOT BITS
With the hack of Binance and several other financial institutions, we have to rethink the ENTIRE concept of digital financial balances entirely. Crypto or fiat.
Not to be alarmist... But the security of every financial system is dependent on its weakest link - the people that run it. IMAGINE a scenario where servers & records get wiped Mr Robot style through social engineering, with little to no paper backups.
It sounds far-fetched, but it's possible that we see a financial institution get zeroed-out Mt Gox style in the next 10 years.
This is MORE relevant now given the rise of Neobanks (which are likely paperless on the backend). And they hold a non-significant amount of a country's GDP.
What do we do given the rise of offensive cyber AI? The answer's been the same for the last 1000 years:
Store your wealth in non-digital venues! Land, gold, art, political influence etc.
Follow the money and guidance of the people that came before you, and close your ears the digital siren songs.

in the past 6 months, i have seen a single person doing LLM pretraining, LLM posttraining, generating megakernels for training and inference, designing a fab ready chip, creating a new programming language and its compiler and runtime, developing new sensors, building distributed system for hundreds of thousands of users, trading millions, investing millions, making a movie, doing construction for a warehouse, building a lithography machine, building a musculoskeletal humanoid…
and I see each of them using a very similar interface and im so excited for how much human enablement can happen if we build the network effect of domain knowledge
Ok cool but can they actually start curing cancer though
OpenAI just released 722 AI-written math papers. Here are the 4 biggest claims in plain English. None have been confirmed by outside mathematicians yet.
1/ Quasi-Riemann hypothesis. Zeta has no zeros with real part above 7/8. It's not the Riemann hypothesis (that needs 1/2), but nobody had ever cleared a fixed strip before. Has a Lean proof.

2/ Unique Games Conjecture. The central open question on which problems computers can't even approximate well. A proof means the best known algorithms for problems like Max-Cut can't be beaten unless P = NP. Has a Lean proof.

3/ Hodge conjecture for CM abelian varieties. A special case of a Millennium Prize problem, about which topological features of a shape come from pieces defined by polynomial equations. No Lean proof yet.

4/ Free group factors. Open since the 1940s: are the operator algebras built from free groups on 2 and 3 generators the same? Claimed answer: yes, all of them are. Has a Lean proof.

If we cover earth with satellites, we can block sunlight from hitting earth and reverse global warming

This Starlink V3 deployment shot from Starship is real flight footage.
It looks like the render a space startup puts in a pitch deck and gets eye-rolls for.
KENSAT - Separation confirmed!
Believe it or not - all of this has been the culmination of a single person's work (yours truly). Everything from the satellite hardware, firmware, and ground software is the product of an individual.
5 years ago, this would be unheard of. As access to orbit opens up, I expect to see 14 year old kids to be able to pull this off. That's an exciting future I'd want to live in! Hopefully this serves as an inspiration to do what excites you, piques your curiosity, and pushes you to the absolute limit.
Along the way, I had the pleasure of working with the best people in the space - @Exolaunch, @savant_vc and many other individuals (you know who you are!). All love to the people who helped put KENSAT into space.

SpaceX added ~1% to global internet bandwidth with today's Starship launch.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This only increased the global *satellite* capacity by 1%, not the entire world including terrestrial network capacity
x.com/manhattva/stat…
Global internet is 2200 Tbps
Starlink V3 is 1 Tbps
So just 2200 Starlinks can theoretically carry all of Earth's internet traffic
That's 38 Starship launches, assuming 60 V3s per Starship
Read that again - 38 LAUNCHES to replace the internet
Replying to @aaronburnett
It is increasingly probable that Starlink will carry a majority of Earth’s IP traffic long-term.
At that point, Starlink would de facto become the Internet and everything else would connect to Starlink.
About 50 years ago, Emilio Marcos Palma was the first person born in Antarctica.
Seems likely we will see a human born in orbit, moon or Mars in the next 50.
