From today disabled workers effectively "stop" earning for the rest of the year because of the pay gap between us and non-disabled workers. That gap sits at 17.2%, with non-disabled employees making about Β£2.35 more per hour on average. #DisabilityPayGapDay #FairDues

Blatant attempt to equate a recreational activity with the experiences of marginalised groups, facing historical + ongoing patterns of discrimination. Pro-hunting advocates claim discrimination, these are likely reactions to the activity itself, not their unchangeable identity.
Fox Hunting campaigners say they deserve the same protection as minority groups because of the discrimination they encounter. So, should hunters have the same legal protections as minority groups?

So force Disabled ppl into work to β€˜save money’ then Disabled people all claim access to work because their new place of work does not meet their needs in a Disabling world & gov pays on average Β£10,000, up to Β£66,000 a year per person. Just a reminder that this behaviour is just the tip of the iceberg that we as disabled people encounter. Discrimination can be covert, and indirect but also sadly very direct too. Then we internalise that ableism, believe it & hold ourselves to impossible standards. #EndAbleism
'Allowing them to make the choice to delete her from the picture effectively.' The mum of a child with additional support needs has been left 'heartbroken' after her child was removed from her school photo. Natalie Pinnell said it was 'inhumane' that the photographer put two versions of the class photo up for sale to parents – one featuring daughter Erin and one without.
