Buckeye police have arrested the fiancé of a woman who was attacked at her home about a week ago- Det. say the assault was an online plot between the fiancé and a Goodyear man he met online @azfamily
Even in these battles these two are so entertaining
I honestly don’t understand what you want to hear from me on this subject. I think Garland is a good player who works better with good players around him. I believe he can be a high-level contributor to a winning team, and yes, his limitations are real. He’s not a franchise player, and that’s perfectly okay.
If the Clippers decide to keep him rather than trade him, that’s fine, too, as long as it makes sense for the team.

The issue is that he isn’t good enough to be a number 1 option and doesn’t do enough without the ball in his hand to be a good number 2 or 3. It’s why the Cavs cut bait with him. It’s hard to see if you don’t watch him every night, but it’s why small pgs who can’t score 30
Two Things here and I love Hardens Time with The Clippers :
Harden and Garland are both negatives on defense, You can argue Symantec's of who's worst at it but you won't get very far.
Harden has also had his severely negative Playoff performances in a much longer career.

No, it was not close to purely financial.
Garland ansd mitchell defensive backcourt. Garland’s injury history and playoff performance played a bigger role than his financial benefit.
I said almost entirely, and it was lol. Harden makes almost $11 million less than Garland, and that move helped Cleveland get out of the second apron and gave them more flexibility to pursue players like Watson this summer.
The trade was about the financial situation as much as anything else. You can criticize Garland's play all you want, but that doesn't change the economics behind the move. Some of y'all are so determined to believe Cleveland moved him because he was bad that you're ignoring the actual financial implications of the trade. 😂
The reason Garland was moved for Harden was almost entirely financial. Harden eventually taking less money gave the Cavs the flexibility to make other moves they couldn't realistically pull off with Garland's contract on the books.
It wasn't necessarily about Garland being a bad player. It was about the economics and giving Cleveland more flexibility to build around its core.

Let's also be honest, the cavs didn't just randomly trade a 25 year old in his prime for a 38 year old. He is who he is, which is a high level role player on a max contract. Hopefully they don't are the same mistake the cavs made in resigning him to that type of $
I honestly don’t get why a Lakers fan is on a Clippers timeline worrying about discussions about Garland lol. Either you’re desperate for attention or you genuinely have nothing better going on with your own team. Either way, man, that’s hilarious 😂

Maybe he’s not a No. 1 option you say? No shit. Hard pressed seeing him even as a third option
Why are Clippers fans so upset with Garland? Players have bad stretches sometimes. Y’all are asking dude to be something he’s never been or do things he’s never had to do.
Maybe the conclusion is that he’s really good playing alongside a Kawhi-type player but isn’t built to be the standalone guy. Maybe he’s just not a true No. 1 option, and that’s totally fine.
That’s the point of having a year like this. You use it to evaluate what you have, figure out who you can move forward with, and determine who deserves to get paid what. You can’t realistically draw definitive conclusions from four games, especially when the roster is this depleted. 😂
Realistically, DJJ for Topic and 3–4 second-round picks. I’d consider it if I’m the Clippers, too. Topic can ball, but the injury concerns are real. At the same time, his lack of playing time could allow you to sign him to a very team-friendly deal. The upside is worth exploring.
Before I go to sleep, can Clippers fans please stop with the “we should offer to take on Porzingis for a 1st” takes? That isn’t going to happen. KP is only guaranteed $3 million next season. He’s essentially an expiring contract for GSW. Nobody is giving up a 1st just to dump that contract. Be serious.
Garland hasn’t been great, or even very good, and he’s definitely struggled. He needs to be better. But asking him to be Harden and carry a team missing four potential starters to wins against good teams, while those teams have a much better understanding of their roles, is wild.
On another note I do think the Clippers are going to have to make a decision on a player in the trade market soon, though, because there’s interest.
They’re asking a lot from Garland. Yeah, he can be better, but he’s a small guard who’s much easier to defend when he’s the only real offensive threat on the floor, both as a scorer and a playmaker.
He’s still can be more effective contributing across the board. He’ll look better as more guys start coming back and the offense gets some help.
The Clippers just don’t have enough offense with so many guys out, and that’s totally fine. But when you’re relying on your two-way guys, you need at least one of them to give you something in games like these. Unfortunately, here we are.
The Lakers are a good team and are well-coached.
