If you've got people in your life who have stories of family or community history, please record them if you have the chance. You don't have to be a filmmaker or podcaster or whatever 1/
Being able to share photos with the people in them is one of my favorite parts of the work ✌️
Said it more than once and i’ll repeat it forever
SALEEM IS THE COOLEST‼️‼️@kidethnic
AIGO OUT NOW on all Platforms. Keep streaming‼️‼️‼️
*AIGO - As I Get Older, the resemblance of growth in all aspects of Dray Blcvk denoted in a mixtape 💿 *
Was so grateful to get to share work as part of AudioFlux! #Resonatepodfest is such a fulfilling experience, so much talk of craft and so many little tips I'll bring home to my next projects

2/5 We're so proud of these works, and the producers behind them! Pictured (l-r) @toddwemmer Sayre Quevedo @kidethnic @JasonReynolds83 @jatomic @NicHill732 John DeLore & Katelyn Hale Wood. Not pictured: @AlanGoffinski @radhikavisw @samyuvarma
My older son wrote an audio script for my younger son...In the form of a MadLib.
A Circuit 04 secondary prompt, in honor of @JasonReynolds83 handwriting all first drafts, was to include a handwritten document related to your fluxwork. Here's what the 04 commissioned producers sent. We ❤️ the ink! Paper! Scratching out & rewriting! Slanty lines! Mad libs!
Excited to be part of this Audio Flux cohort! Going to debut some new work at Resonate Festival in Richmond next month!
Time to introduce our super-very-talented Circuit 04 commissioned producers: @kidethnic @NicHill732 @CatherineECarr Sayre Quevedo. Stay tuned for more deets and listen up for their fab firsts-inspired, #ResonatePodFest-debuting fluxworks next month! ✨
So glad to be out here photographing hip hop in Harare

#NextLevelProgram with some amazing MCs from our ends has been so educative and amazing .
Thankful to God for this opportunity.
@Dee1music you're Godsent brother!
"eels: the new crypto" is my favorite take on anything I've heard in a minute @sadarlo1

I like this Crazy Kind Bar rule of ad placement ethics:
This Post is from an account that no longer exists. Learn more
This is not a project I’m working on, just sharing because it is the most chaotically specific subject search I’ve seen in awhile @ThisAmerLife
Just to be super clear, I don't work there or anything or know anything else about the project (the @ was just me tagging them, I just screenshotted it from their FB page): facebook.com/thislife/posts/…… Just found the callout's specificity amusing
Still really proud of this project, and love that we got to film so many people we love
Our "Welcome to Durham, NC" video was named a North American Travel Journalists Association award finalist! 🙌 Kudos to @kidethnic and company for showing what makes the #BullCity such a wonderful place 🐂🏙️❤️
People everywhere share resources, of course. Here I'm using 'near-downtown life' just as shorthand for 'walking around a lot.'
A neat thing about walking all the time, and having people walk near you, is that sometimes your needs are easily visible. And people sometimes help out
What a simple, pure genius tweak!

I think the ad would work much better if it was reversed. All the objects should be expanding out of the iPad rather than being crushed into it
made this edited version in five minutes (thanks iMovie!)
What I wanted to do while viewing this was run in there and try to save beautiful things!
I enjoy all kinds of things on my iPad. But watching this made me very sad.
'stream my soul on demand...that's a steal'

Pick the place where you can learn from lots of different people -- even if it pays less. Having a team who is invested in your growth is so much more valuable than a high paycheck, especially in those early years.

1. Be a good person because reputation is everything.
2. Nurture your relationships.
3. Don’t compromise your values/integrity for perceived access, clout, or power; those folks always get found out and rightfully dragged.
