🚨BREAKING: Pam Bondi PANICS after DOJ whistleblower Ryan Crosswell - who QUIT when Trump’s DOJ tried to shut down prosecutions for his allies - - says he’s running for Congress to NOT ONLY expose her corruption in the record, but to ALSO hold her accountable. This is huge.

BREAKING: Vanity Fair author Chris Whipple just revealed stunning details from his conversations with Susie Wiles, Trump’s chief of staff. Here’s what she told him: - Wiles said she has read the Epstein documents and acknowledged that Trump’s name is in them. - Wiles said she urged Trump NOT to pardon the most violent January 6 rioters. He ignored her advice. - She admitted Trump is looking for retribution...“when there’s an opportunity, he will go for it.” - She tried to convince Trump to stop “score-settling” against political enemies after 90 days in office. That effort failed because Trump’s desire for retribution never stopped. - Wiles directly contradicted Trump’s claims about Bill Clinton, stating there is “no evidence” Clinton ever visited Jeffrey Epstein’s private island. - She described Trump as having “an alcoholic’s personality.” Wiles said her ability to work with him comes from growing up with an alcoholic father, the sportscaster Pat Summerall. - On Vice President JD Vance, Wiles said he has “been a conspiracy theorist for a decade,” and that his conversion from Trump critic to loyalist was political, driven by his Senate ambitions rather than principle. - She described Elon Musk as “an avowed ketamine user,” “an odd, odd duck,” whose actions were often not “rational” and left her “aghast.” - She called budget director Russell T. Vought a “right-wing absolute zealot.” - Wiles defended USAID, saying that “anyone who has paid attention to government knows they do very good work.” - She said Attorney General Pam Bondi “completely whiffed” the handling of the Epstein files, explaining: “First she gave binders full of nothingness. Then she claimed the witness list or client list was on her desk. There is no client list — and it sure as hell wasn’t on her desk.” - She said the administration needed to “look harder” at deportations to avoid mistakes. - Referring to two mothers who were arrested and deported with their children after voluntarily attending routine immigration meetings, Wiles said: “I can’t understand how you make that mistake — but somebody did.” - She tried unsuccessfully to get Trump to delay major tariffs, citing a “huge disagreement” among his advisers. - Wiles summed up Trump’s governing mindset this way: He operates with a belief that there is nothing he can’t do. Nothing. Zero. Nothing.

Happy to share one of our latest studies (1)! Led by Post-Doc (now Asst. Prof.) @ Marine Granjon and in collaboration with @noelvest and @DrSeanMackey, we used latent profile analysis to identify four distinct anger profiles in people (n=735) with chronic pain.

New paper out: we identified distinct anger profiles among people with chronic pain. One group—high anger + high perceived injustice—had the worst pain outcomes, even beyond depression/anxiety. Anger and injustice matter for treatment. @StanfordPain

A new investigation details the political maneuvers that led to the release of Andrew and Tristan Tate, right-wing influencers charged with rape, human trafficking and other crimes. The Tates, who are major players with big social media followings in the so-called manosphere, are facing criminal investigations in Romania and criminal charges in the U.K. for alleged sex crimes. Both men have denied the criminal allegations. The brothers had been barred from leaving Romania for years as prosecutors built their case. But, in February, the Romanian government suddenly lifted the travel ban and allowed the two to board a plane to Florida. The New York Times recently shed light on how Tate supporters inside the Trump administration, and some members of the president's family, may have been involved in a larger movement to ramp up U.S. involvement in their case. Investigative reporter Megan Twohey, who helped break the story, joins @GeoffRBennett to discuss.

“If he gets deported, he’s really dead." Guan Heng risked his life exposing China's Uyghur camps, taking on-the-ground videos that served as evidence for investigators around the world. Now, after fleeing to the US, he's been detained by ICE and is facing deportation to China.

Grateful this thread seems to have been widely shared so more see the incredible reporting by @mega2e and @BellaKwai. PBS also put it together in a segment running 8 minutes. Pls watch and share. It’s important work.
This NYT report on how the Tate brothers escaped Romania to the U.S. is absolutely extraordinary work and a must-read easily missed. I highly recommend reading every word until the end. Note every name that supported them. And the toxicity of the activities and evidence. 1/2
