In May, GMDA awarded a contract for hot-mix carpeting of Golf Course Extn. Rd. What happened? Work appears to have been abandoned, leaving the entire stretch a dust bowl and worsening air pollution. @HSPCBHaryana @cmohry @OfficialGMDA @CPCB_OFFICIAL @PMOIndia @GauriSarin
Entire Gurugram is full of these type of pedestrian crossings that end up in a fencing or a wall. Basic human right to walk on roads is denied in Gurugram. This is the red light in sec 38 but this is everywhere @cmohry @PMOIndia @NayabSainiBJP @OfficialGMDA @pcmeenaIAS
While US and China are focusing on AI, Indians are busy figuring out the caste of profs who teach in IITs. We are busy focusing on Gyanesh Kumar using the filthiest possible language (chaprasi, pocha lagao etc. Etc.). We are busy cracking crude Meloni jokes.
Politics in the country is shifting. People want to see 7.8% on the roads, traffic and sanitation. BJP is still playing the old game. needs to wake up. @narendramodi @PMOIndia @NayabSainiBJP @Rao_InderjitS @BJP4India

That’s what sanitation strike does to #Gurugram . For 8 years sanitation workers unleash garbage exigency leaving residents harried while allegedly trying to blackmail government. City that gives 70 % revenue deserves better a permanent sanitation force empowered RWA’s and clean streets
Modi ji please wake up - potholes, garbage, traffic, collapsing buildings, massive local level corruption … we like the 7.8% and we love BJP but if it’s not improving our lives then what can one say!! @narendramodi @PMOIndia @BJP4India @NayabSainiBJP

Everyone who took the time to read, engage with and support this ask -thank you.
Many are asking: why not organise a protest?
But does government only listen when people protest,Why should asking the Haryana Cabinet and administration to implement their own rules, norms and civic provisions ..fully, fairly and not through selective or window-dressed measures ..become a protest?
Basically, we are invisible to the Haryana government. The #people_already_living_in_Gurugram are INVISIBLE. Gurugram seems to be seen only as a city with rapid expansion and development prospects -#HappeningHaryana !
Just before the major waterlogging a few days ago, an HSIIDC GM asked during a presentation: “What’s lacking in Gurgaon?” And answered himself: “The world’s tallest tower is coming up soon.” !!
How do you even make people SEE us?
Certainly, the broken infrastructure is visible -but it is taken as WIP. अभी तो बीस-तीस वर्ष लगेंगे पूरे शहर को बनाने में। Trust me, our problems are not seen as problems that need solving NOW. They are simply relegated to the future -while the next investor, builder and buyer takes priority.
Invisible people protesting, crying or pleading are still just that … invisible.
If there was any real remorse, would the CM and Cabinet not have recognised the fiasco and chaos of Gurugram by now -after several lakh representations, grievance portals, Swachh Bharat complaints, failed ratings, NGT cases, PILs and years of lived experience?
When an entire city is under duress, ordinary citizens cannot be expected to fight entrenched contractor, waste, construction, transport and builder lobbies.
Government must.
Gurugram has effectively been under a health emergency for years. Dhoom-dhuaan, waterlogging, pollution, waste, broken infrastructure and failure to implement basic civic norms have made this an all-out health and safety emergency.
This is ultimately a political decision: what gets prioritised, what is enforced and what is allowed to continue.
The MP Gurgaon needs to recognise this city for what it is -a city requiring immediate SOS treatment.
I ask with full responsibility and humility: will Rao साहब give Gurugram one complete year -experience all seasons -while residing here, outside DLF Phase 5, GCR or Civil Lines?
Look closely. Breathe the acidic, acrid, dust-laden air enveloping us, our homes and our city.
We are in dire need of extraordinary measures to arrest these problems and reduce the daily strife, struggle and suffocation faced by the existing population. 🙏
This photograph is from 2019, handing over our representations to MP Rao Inderjit ji . Seven years later, we are still asking for the same basic civic accountability.
The open waste-dumping video is from 2022 -when people were not yet talking about a waste crisis because the GVPs were away from residential sectors. But the violations and the crisis already existed.
The same situation continues across Gurgaon.
Nothing has changed -not even the elected reps entrusted with implementing the government’s own rules.

Dear Sh @Rao_InderjitS ji, there is simply no time to waste now in more meetings, investigations and another slew of development plans for Gurgaon.
You have represented Gurgaon in Parliament since 2009, and this is your fourth consecutive term. You know this city and its transformation better than most.
As a citizens collective, we have been raising these issues since 2013. Gurugram’s sanitation, air-pollution, waste ,broken & inadequate infrastructure and civic failures had already reached #crisis proportions.
And yet, every monsoon, we go through the same cycle … a few weeks of rain, a sudden flurry of meetings, promises and action plans … and then the rains pass.
But our daily strife remains. We live with the consequences 365 days a year. Sir, If you genuinely want to fix Gurugram, -you will need to shift to Gurgaon for at least 12 months -only then will you truly #see and grasp the scale of gross civic deficiencies and perhaps recognise the need for extraordinary measures, including seeking extraordinary assistance from @PMOIndia and even the Defence forces to rein in the entrenched, #lawlessness #corruption - contractor–transport–waste nexus that appears to operate with no fear of enforcement.
For far too long, real-estate growth has been treated as the measure of a successful Gurgaon, while the lived experience of its existing population has been pushed aside.
Gurugram has generated enormous resources for the State. Surely, the city that generates this wealth deserves to see a substantial part of that capacity invested back into fixing what is broken, restoring what has been neglected and reducing the daily strife of its residents.
And in the midst of this civic crisis, there is simply no room for diverting administrative attention and resources into new development.
Stall what can be stalled.
I am sure you would agree that there has been enough time, enough representation and enough votes to make a difference to the constituency you have represented for so long.
Please look at the attached photographs, taken over the past 48 hours.
Gurugram is already in the throes of a civic crisis.
Right now the only announcement we want to hear is -MP Gurugram is going to reside in his constituency till the city gets its dues and people’s health safety well being prioritised and not just growth in realty 🙏

Two civic issues that need urgent attention in Gurgaon:
1️⃣ Tigra Chowk:
The stagnant sewerage water has finally been cleared after nearly 5 days. I understand from shopkeepers that machines were deployed from late last evening through noon today.
A sincere appeal to @OfficialGMDA CEO Sh. P.C. Meena ji to review why this was allowed to persist for 5 days. The foul odour and unsanitary conditions caused considerable hardship, particularly to those using the road daily, including community helpers living in Tigra.
A review of what went wrong, accountability where required is warranted 🙏
2️⃣ Open discharge:
Just 500meters away from this point near Nirvana, residents have recorded what appears to be sewerage water being discharged openly onto a road-facing area. This is unrelated to the Tigra incident but is reflective of a common practice across Gurgaon. Sharing a recent video recorded by a resident of The Close Apartment.
If designated disposal points exist for sewerage tankers, open discharge needs to stop. Proper containment can help protect groundwater and ensure basic sanitary conditions.
Incidentally, @CPCB_OFFICIAL had also tweeted regarding complaint TW 21-27310, asking GMDA to take action and update the action taken.
Hoping both issues are reviewed seriously and result in lasting corrective action. 🙏

5 days. Still unresolved. And this is STAGNANT SEWAGE at the mouth of the main approach road to Tigra, Sector 50/57, Gurugram. 🚨
Fresh footage from 31 Aug shows the same sewage accumulation at Tigra Chowk, opposite Lotus Valley School and Nirvana The Close.
A strong urine-ammonia stench, stagnant sewage on a busy public thoroughfare, and daily exposure for residents, schoolchildren, pedestrians, cyclists and workers.
The real concern is public health and the risk of illness from prolonged exposure to stagnant sewage.
We have also raised this directly with the concerned GMDA officer today, requesting an urgent site inspection and immediate resolution. Regrettably, there has been no acknowledgement or response so far.
@OfficialGMDA @DC_Gurugram @MunCorpGurugram , please treat this as an urgent sanitation and public-health issue. Identify the source and clear the sewage immediately.

GCER's development has been pending for a long time. @OfficialGMDA isn't bothered nor is it ashamed even when public figures call them out. How have they developed such a thick skin is beyond imagination. Traffic is getting worse and so is living condition around GCER.
Gurgaon only gets announcements, promises and assurances, with no real delivery on the ground.
Why shouldn’t this road be the same quality as Golf Course Road? What’s the excuse for leaving it this way? Does it make sense to have one good road and leave the rest worse than third-world countries? If DLF hadn’t developed Golf Course Road, what would the administration claim as development in Gurgaon?
In the residential areas of sector 58 of Gurgaon these huge power transmission towers are being erected. The whole city is becoming a power cable transmission mesh. This is unsafe for residents. Can someone do something about this? @1912dhbvn @cmohry @NayabSainiBJP @PMOIndia
Nearly half of the road in Sector 58, 59 is blocked by illegal parking and there is no one to stop this. @HARYANAPOLICEHQ @TrafficGGM @DC_Gurugram @cmohry
Waste being burned in the open. Sector 63a right opposite The Grand Arch (sec 58) Gurugram. It’s a daily affair and there is zero governance in Gurgaon. No one is interested in this city anymore.
Major waste burning in Gurugram every day. This is sector 63 A next to Tata SEZ. @CMHaryana1 @NayabSainiBJP @MunCorpGurugram @OfficialGMDA @CPCB_OFFICIAL
Horrible state of affairs in Gurugram. 3rd time we voted BJP in and what a mess. We aspire to become US but our cities are worse than Angola. @RaoNarbir @narendramodi @PMOIndia @NayabSainiBJP
