A portrait of @AdamWeitsman, reconstructed through @traceforms.
2,752 tiles.
147 distinct Trace characters.
50 pieces from my own collection, placed where they visually belong.
There’s something fitting about portraying a collector through collected art.
From a distance, one face.
Up close, hundreds of individual works — each retaining its own identity while contributing to something larger.
That is what keeps pulling me toward Trace.
It is beginning to feel less like a collection of images and more like a visual medium: artworks becoming material, ownership becoming composition, and the collector entering the work itself.
Adam, given the way you support artists and experiments that push digital art forward, I thought this one might be worth your eye.

Some pieces enter a wallet.
A few enter your identity.
I just acquired a new Trace that immediately felt personal — close enough to my own character that I knew it had to become my new PFP.
What Vesty is building with @traceforms continues to fascinate me because the work refuses to stop at the image.
The character is data.
The data becomes form.
The form becomes interpretation.
And the collector increasingly becomes part of the story.
That’s the kind of digital art I want to spend time with.
Not because of where the floor is today, but because of where the artistic language might go tomorrow.
If you’re curious about Trace, discover the work before you discover the price.

I used the new Traceforms tool to rebuild Beeple’s Everydays: The First 5000 Days from 10,000 Trace tiles.
What makes this interesting isn’t the mosaic itself.
Beeple’s work turned 5,000 individual images into one monumental digital composition.
Trace reverses that logic.
Each Trace already begins as data, tone, structure and interpretation — and here, those individual onchain characters become the material of another image.
1,152 different Trace characters.
10,000 tiles.
48 of them from my own collection, placed where they visually fit best.
So the work operates at several scales at once:
from a distance, you see Beeple.
closer, you see thousands of Trace characters.
closer still, you find the pieces you personally own.
That shift in scale is what fascinates me.
Trace is starting to feel less like a collection of NFTs and more like a visual language — a system in which artworks can become pixels, collectors can become participants, and ownership can become part of composition itself.
If Beeple helped prove that digital art could occupy the same cultural space as traditional art, Traceforms is exploring something slightly different:
what happens when digital artworks themselves become the medium?

over the past few days, i’ve been increasing my bet on vesty and now hold around 200 trace.
really loving the updates she keeps shipping, but what i like most is the idea behind it all.
you’re literally leaving your trace on the blockchain. and that trace stays there.
an on-chain trace.

Vesty Signature Style @0xvesty
Every Trace starts as a grid.
2,535 cells. each one holds a single hex digit, 0 to f: how bright that spot is. that's all the grid knows.
That grid lives onchain, in the token's own record. when you call tokenURI, the contract hands it to the renderer. the Cipher and the black and white version have grids of their own.
The grid doesn't store letters, dots or blocks. a style reads each value and picks a symbol for it: denser symbols for brighter cells, lighter ones for darker cells.
Change the symbols and the character stays the same. the grid holds the shape. the symbols are just one way to write it.
Trace #1022, drawn from one grid, in 25 styles.

sometimes i think people overlook how much robinhood:0x32e5c63483dc00e00bf99016fa91775e00464de1 has already been used.
91.7m through Spy mints and over 100m on Spy upgrades: 20% of total supply is now burned.
we keep building, more cool stuff coming soon.
