There are some artists who are just ALBUM artists in my opinion. Like their singles don’t really hit well on their own, but in the context of a full project it’s amazing

I love that this is the common place within industry now but it is so hard to accept because by the time ppl are 30, they’ve been in this industry for YEARS 10-15 years already and have been beat down by it.. I guess cream rises to the top, but I know too many ppl who hit this threshold in life & the twinkle in their eye about it is gone

Right! I think a lot of people have gotten so caught up in the "numbers" that catering to your core audience is a concept that has kind of been thrown out the window. Everything isn't going to be a global hit. It's OK for artist to just simply make good music that feels good – at Graceville, FL
Victoria has a solid and loyal fanbase. If you compare this with Jaguar II that had a very big single leading into the album, and only sold 15k, this is true loyal fanbase growth and THAT should always be the end goal👏🏾
.@VictoriaMonet's 'Frequency of Love' debuts at #49 on this week's Billboard 200 (17K sold).

Ya’ll preach so much about not being fatphobic but let a fat person say something you don’t like or disagree with. Ya’ll throw out all types of fat-shaming words like it’s the hard R

🚨@AngieNixon SCHOOLS an Ashley Moody disruptor at a press conference:
“The Black Panther Party saw that people didn’t have access to quality healthcare. They popped up free health clinics because the government was failing to ensure that people had a safety net. They started free health clinics and that’s been replicated by organizations all across the country who are in communities when people like @AshleyMoodyFL decide to vote to end healthcare for over 440,000 people here in the state of Florida!”
I really liked Lanterns but if I were to critique it, it definitely needs more constructions, ring usage, space, etc. I hope they go the Andor season 2 route (adding in more aliens when that was a complaint from season 2) and take note of the critiques and adjust next season
Finished the album and it’s easily a 9/10 for me! An immaculate album, I would only take the interludes out and maybe 1 song and keep it a solid 16 tracks. I would also say that ‘See You In My Dreams’ or ‘Lose Myself’ can easily be the next singles

Replying to @VictoriaMonet
@VictoriaMonet bravo bravo bravoo! You are not underrated. You have arrived, AGAIN. phenomenal album and display for your range.
Victoria Monet has three category of fans; ‘On My Mama’ fans, Jaguar I & II fans, and Victoria Monét fans (that like all of her previous work besides Jaguar). I fear a lot of people are Jaguar/ONM fans and not Victoria fans…

If you’re looking for gimmicky or trendy R&B, then Victoria Monet’s album is not for you. If you’re looking for Jaguar Part III listen to Jaguar Part II three times babe. Idk what to tell you.
I’m halfway through Victoria Monét’s album and I’m loving it so far. It’s very much an ALBUM and the songs fit well together in that regard. For people who are just singles listeners or looking for “THE HIT”, this just may not be for you and that’s okay.

*Artist releases a consistent drop*
“They keep putting out the same thing”
*Artist switches it up and tries something new*
“They need to stick to the formula”
Which one is it gone be??? Lol Let Artists create. Let music breathe first and sit with it
I truly hope all my Florida friends run out to vote for Angie Nixon!!
