Seeing people all around the glove confidently singing a Yorùbá song and reciting some of the poems many of us learned in school was a beautiful reminder of something we often take for granted.
💜Seeing people from different countries, tribes and culture, trying to learn the culture, tradition, language dresses etc of Yorùbá is evidence that Yoruba Nation is a Great Nation on its own
💜 Yoruba is not just a language—it is a civilization. It carries centuries of history, philosophy, literature, music, art, and values that continue to attract admiration far beyond Nigeria's borders.
💜 A culture does not become globally appreciated by accident. It earns that recognition through its richness, resilience, and the commitment of its people to preserve it.
💜 That is why I never lose sleep over those who try to belittle the Yorùbá. You don't diminish a culture that others across the world are eager to learn from.
💜 The best response to criticism is not anger. It is to keep preserving our language, celebrating our heritage, and passing it proudly to the next generation.
Àṣà wa, èdè wa, ìtàn wa—our pride, our identity, our legacy.

Kwankwaso is smarter than Atiku. He’s playing chess while Atiku is still figuring out the board. 😂
Leaving the ADC early was not weakness; it was political intelligence. Some politicians know when to jump ship, while others are still busy rearranging the deck of a sinking vessel.
So, who read the political situation better? 👀🔥

Two months in a row? Morgan Rogers is collecting Chelsea Goal of the Month awards like he owns the trophy cabinet.
But let's talk about that strike against Manchester United. Some goals are scored, others are announced. That one was a statement.
Rogers is becoming a serious problem for defenders.

A reminder that you don't need to have everything figured out before you start.
Every little effort counts. Every disciplined decision matters. And every new day is another opportunity to get closer to the life you desire.
Don't just wish for a better future. Work towards it.
Your actions today are writing your story tomorrow.
What's one thing you're determined to achieve this week?

One thing the Yorùbá must never allow to go extinct is ORÍKÌ.
Before social media biographies, we had Oríkì. Before people searched for their identity online, our ancestors preserved family histories, ancestral achievements, virtues and legacies through praise poetry.
Oríkì is more than praise singing; it is history, identity, memory and a connection between generations.
A child who knows their Oríkì carries more than a name; they carry a story.
Sadly, many young Yorùbá people today cannot recite their family Oríkì.
We must do better at preserving what makes us who we are.
Ẹ jẹ́ ká má jẹ́ kí àṣà wa kú!
Do you still remember your family Oríkì?

Not every legacy is measured by awards, wealth, fame or the number of blockbuster movies you have featured in. Sometimes, the greatest legacy is what you build to make someone else's life better.
Veteran Nollywood actress Sola Sobowale has demonstrated this beautifully by establishing Joseph and Esther Homes, an elderly care facility in Akobo, Ibadan, named in honour of her parents.
Think about that for a moment.
She didn't just honour her parents with words or monuments; she established an institution dedicated to giving elderly people care, comfort and dignity.
There is something deeply beautiful about turning gratitude to one's parents into an opportunity to serve humanity.
This is more than a business venture. It is a statement about compassion, family, responsibility and the importance of caring for the generation that came before us.
In Yoruba culture, we say Àgbà kì í wà l'ọ́jà kí orí ọmọ tuntun wọ́ — elders have a place of wisdom and importance in our society.
Sola Sobowale, this is a legacy worth celebrating. Ẹ kú iṣẹ́ o!
May more successful Nigerians find ways to turn their achievements into blessings for humanity.
