RIP to Suzanne Somers . We were in acting class together in mid70s and she had a gift for comedy and niceness,

Happy Birthday to @Cal alum Jared Goff, @CalFootball's starting quarterback 2013-2015. Goff was the second Cal player to be the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft. He led the Rams to Super Bowl LIII in 2019 and is now the pride of the Detroit Lions.

In the 1890s, @Cal students were notified of failing grades when a "cinch notice" was publicly posted on a bulletin board in North Hall. (No, there were no privacy laws.) Photo: cinch notices being posted by an employee of the Registrar's Office, nicknamed the Angel of Death.

The first meeting between @CalFootball and Utah took place on October 23, 1920 at California Memorial Stadium. The Utah Crimson (as they were then called) ran into the buzz saw of Andy Smith's Wonder Team, losing 63-0. Here's my story about that game: calbearshistory.com/2020/10/…

The Lord Thy Victor playing head games. Calling Adam “Nicholas.” Could this be his way of finding out which one of his kids will overplay their hand? 🤔 #YR

Kyle is living the dream, “Audra likes me for me!” 🤦♂️He’s seen her and Tucker together previously, which should’ve raised alarm bells when she came slithering back. But like a little horny frog, he hops right into bed… #YR

If you’d told a 10-year-old Traveller kid, who was publicly ridiculed at school for his ‘backwards spelling and shameful English’, that his love of writing stories would prove a cruel teacher wrong, and I’d end up a published author at the Cheltenham Literature Festival…
Well 🤯

I am very sad to tell you that Annabelle with #DIPG lost her battle on October 6th after fighting #DIPG for 17 years. We all hoped that she would beat this and live a long life. She was an angel, the sweetest girl who had a special place in all our hearts. She is now healed and whole in haven, no more pain, no more broken body for that we rejoice for her. We send our love and prayers to her family and friends.
****She is not my child. I am just someone who prayed for her and her and her family.
Annabelle Carolyn was born on February 19th, 2003 and passed away on October 6th, 2023 at the age of 20 (DIPG advocate to all children and families who have #DIPG who lost a daughter herself, Jo Bishop.)
You are the finest, loveliest, tenderest, and most beautiful person I have ever known—and even that is an understatement. When I find you again Love, it’ll rain where there’s a drought, it’ll shine where it should snow, the earth will shake where it’s never moved, mountains will rise on the flattest plains, stars will fall all around us, rainbows will appear at night, but the world won’t notice a thing. Because when you find me, Love, the past and present will cease to exist and we’ll fall into a moment that will last forever - F. Scott Fitzgerald
From her mother:
Journal Entry by Kelly Crowson — 8 October 2023
We are sharing sad news with all of Annabelle’s followers. After 17+ years of the bravest most courageous battles ever fought - our precious girl went to meet Jesus. She had been getting progressively worse over the past year but the past month got really worse. This past week the headaches became unbearable and she opted to go on hospice care last Wednesday. They finally got the pain under control and she rested peacefully until she passed away yesterday afternoon surrounded by family. Thank you all for your support and mostly your prayers over these years that we lived life to the fullest. We will miss her terribly but rejoice for her in her new home with Jesus. God Bless you all. Mimi
