Janice @janice_nkajja denies being sponsored by Museveni. How credible is this after her miraculeus change of tone, from confronting M7 in 2022 in his face on corruption saying "we need to go the streets" to "I need to catch flights" and moving with a professional camera man?

1/2 On Friday, October 23, 2026, the #EastAfricanDiaspora held a joint demonstration at US @StateDept in Washington, DC., highlighting, and demanding accountability for the coordinated gross human rights abuses against activists, opposition leaders, civil society & journalists by #Museveni in #Uganda, #Ruto in #Kenya & #Samia in #Tanzania. They delivered a letter to Secretary of State, @SecRubio, through East Africa desk Chief, Mr. Scott Miller, calling for a change in US policy to prioritize partnerships with citizens rather dictators. They also commemorated the October 29, 2025, election massacre in Tanzania at Tanzania's Embassy in the US (@UbaloziUSA). Earlier they met with congressional staff of Senators & representatives from New York & Illinois and delivered similar letters, noting that US interests & competitive advantage vis-a-vis China are best served when US foreign policy is aligned with US values and does not hold Africans' human rights and freedom to a different standard than at home.

Maybe @JoelSsenyonyi didn't prepare his Maiden speech well. He didn't talk about Rigged Elections, our Pres Bobi Wine, absense of Rule of Law, Abductions & Torture. He did talk about bad roads,hospitals & corruption,but that's not good enough. He didn't call out dictatorship.2/2
I cannot give up on our NUP MPs. I will be giving constructive criticism based on facts. I took @JoelSsenyonyi maiden speech in the New Parliament to check if he addressed all the important issues that are bothering Ugandans. We don't want him to become another Mathias Mpuuga.1/2
