Dove, lamb, deer, bunny- they're not only animals of prey in nature, they're hunted by man.
Replying to @knafaesque
nobody is romanticizing chinchillas, naked mole rats, or warthogs (all prey). meanwhile cheetah, tiger, leopard prints are all considered feminine prints. its almost like deer are just cute animals so women like them

We're never making it out of the patriarchy you make one abstract cultural analysis and 8000 women are picketing in your comments for their constitutional right to enjoy something stupid.

Love this counterpoint. The traits emphasized in feminine-coded predators are physical (vs behavior) sleekness, grace, sensual movement instead of aggression/strength. Animals have always been used to describe women's sexuality; see: vixen as extn. of the femme fatale archetype

By cats, I meant felines. Leopard print is a famous symbol of femininity

I love when comments sections help me develop my line of thought in real time. Feminine = delicate Abstract critique of cultural choices = ur literally being executed

I can’t lie the deer/hunter costumes this year made me feel like this😭 it gives me second hand embarrassment seeing girls with a gunshot in their head or chest and being conquered by their bf/husband. i know it’s not that deep for some but it victimizes women you’re right

1- This is the first thought you got when you saw a regular ass necklace? It’s literally just a fucking necklace oh my god 2- Is there something wrong with prey animals? Are prey animals inferior? Do you want to link womanhood with violence and aggression?

I want to conduct a study on the statistical validity of job references. There are such mixed opinions on this. The only widely referenced studies are like 30 years old.

Some guy was blocking the door, swiftly got out of the way, passed me, and said "sorry boss" ngl I almost turned back around and kissed him
