why would i need ts or whatever if i can let agents write rust (which compiles to wasm) directly
Introducing tsrs: a Rust port of the TypeScript compiler 🦀
We are not forking TypeScript!
◆ In close collaborating with the TypeScript team
◆ Up to 8x faster than TS 7.0 & ~70% less memory
◆ Runs in WASM, so it works in your browser & on Workers
◆ Soon part of the Oxc toolchain

you meant "miami vice meets american gangster aesthetic"
it's all good - i always thought it was a cargo cult bullshit, so i never really invested much effort into this anyway, while still landing jobs for 12+ years, bye
not sure what was de-musked exactly - my feed is ~5 interesting posts and the rest is engagement bait or memes
I’m sure this one won’t make anyone angry. (But probably not here.)

Discovered @_MathAcademy_ recently, and currently going through their diagnostics test. Feels fun, I have already solved~30 problems.
I’m feeling optimistic about using this to complement my self-study approach: reading math textbooks and using Claude when I’m stuck.

This along with the recent paper claiming that OAI's formalised Lean proof doesn't correspond to the NL proof of Navier-Stokes, is exactly why we shouldn't take AI labs' claims at face value without scientific consensus and investigations into alleged plagiarism.
Check out this loser!
>uploads a draft to Chat on Sept. 8th

"The result released by OpenAI (#311) on October 6, 2026... identical to a preliminary version of the present paper that was uploaded to ChatGPT on September 8, 2026"
LMAO get rekt
has there been any actual evidence or are we just doomposting in response to vague claims from openai
sounds defeatist. recent ai news don't yet demonstrate that llms are better than humans in math - the navier-stokes is still contentious. i think it's true that llms are better at math or programming than an average human, but will they make consistent new breakthroughs? not sure

If so, you’re much more optimistic about human capability than I am. Good for you!
this is true across west

We’re rewriting the Angular compiler in Rust 🦀 (partially)!
