We are deeply saddened by the passing of Alan Jones. A true Williams legend, Alan formed an extraordinary bond with Frank Williams and Patrick Head and made history by winning our first Drivers’ World Championship in 1980. He set the standard for Williams champions: a fast, uncompromising racer with a challenger mentality who loved motor racing and dedicated his life to it. He will be dearly missed, and we send our love and thoughts to his family and friends.

We are very saddened to hear of the passing of World Champion Alan Jones. ‘Jonesy’ made his first F1 entrance at the 1975 Spanish Grand Prix with the Hesketh squad before going on to famously claim the title in 1980 alongside Frank Williams at his eponymous team. TGR Haas F1 Team can confirm that Esteban Ocon will no longer compete on its behalf in the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. Rafael Câmara will now partner Ollie Bearman in the team at the São Paulo Grand Prix. Rafael will make his Formula 1 debut on home-soil this year having last month been announced as one of TGR Haas F1 Team’s full-time driver signings for the 2027 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. #HaasF1 #F1
