I was dead set against Geno Smith coming back to the #Jets. I was wrong. He has been very good and on a decently coached team, they would be 5-3 right now at worst. I have 0 problem having him be the bridge next yr for the rookie we draft.

We’ve seen the Jets be bad before … but we’ve never seen them be bad and have an excellent WR trio, two young TEs we like, two Top 10 drafted tackles and a young running back who could be a workhorse The offensive personell is there. Pretty obvious where the problems are right now

#Jets have three firsts in 2027 & their entire plan is built around drafting a QB & setting him up for success. So obviously the best possible move they could make right now is to take the one elite offensive playmaker they have who is under team control at a reasonable price until 2030 & trade him to a contender for a late first rounder & change. Because hey, you never know, there’s a slight chance that late first rounder could one day turn out to be close to as good as……Garrett Wilson, the guy they would’ve traded away. Sure man, great plan.
Jets fans not wanting to trade away Garrett Wilson is why bad organizations stay bad and why the Jets have remained bad. The trade market is hot right now and teams are getting great value. Compile draft picks, hit on those picks and improve your roster with cost-controlled assets. It's the quickest path to rebuilding and becoming good again.

lol this is not even close to true. AG was one of the top candidates on the market in 2025. The only two coaches who were more requested for interviews were Vrabel & Johnson. By all accounts, AG was the Saints’ first choice. He played a key part in the Lions’ turnaround. The defense improved every year he was there & he had a top 10 defense in 2024 despite missing like 3/4 of his players. Scouting background was looked upon positively by teams, too. AG hasn’t worked out as #Jets HC. But we don’t have to play pretend here & act like #Jets pulled his name out of a hat & he was some mercy hire. He was a very highly regarded coordinator who was a very promising HC candidate on paper, but hasn’t been good once he got his shot. Many such cases.
Todd Bowles and Robert Saleh were hot names with resumes. Aaron Glenn wasn’t a hot name and coordinated a subpar defense in Detroit. Jets season ticket holders should file a class action lawsuit against that loser @RealTannenbaum and the idiot who hired him @woodyjohnson4

The Giants are 4-2-1, while having had to use 3 QB's already. They just won a game on the road as a 10 pt dog The Jets are 2-5, with as much talent as they've had in 20 years. They just lost at home to a winless team who came in as the worst team in football Coaching matters

LONG POSTGAME TWEET: Thats all folks. 0-8 in the division. Falling at home to the 0-5 Miami Dolphins. Outcoached by a first year Jeff Hafley. A staff that can’t figure out how to get a top-5 receiver in the NFL the football. A truly pathetic loss in every sense. Everything I’ve given Aaron Glenn credit for in the past, having his guys ready to play, pre-game preparation, none of it happened today in a must-win layup game. They continuously found their backs against the walls facing these “must win” games and it was only a matter of time before they shit all over themselves. This is the repercussion of losing games like the Packers, Lions and Patriots games. The dam finally broke and now we’re 2-5 staring down the barrel of 2-8 with the upcoming schedule. Reich is horrible, this team has the most offensive talent I’ve ever seen on a Jets roster since 2011 and they have no idea how to use them. It’s over. I wanted it to work with Glenn given his history with the organization but he just doesn’t get it once the ball is kicked off. Fired his whole staff year 1 and brought in the current iteration that also doesn’t seem to know what the fuck it’s doing. They are in desperate need of a fresh, young innovative offensive minded HC and I think they have the assets to attract one. This can be a one year turn around with this roster, 3 first round picks and $100MM in cap space. It sucks this is how we’re talking already, dead before fucking Halloween, but this is the life we chose as Jets fans. And with that, I look forward to yelling at all of you on Twitter for the next 6 months. Be well, friends.

Patriots get away with a blatant face mask…. Now the Jets have to settle for 3. I can’t believe how badly this game has been officiated.

I am not someone who gets on the refs. I think bad calls go both ways. Holy hell is that a horrendous roughing, though. Pathetic call.

The Jets dropped BOTH David Bailey and Kingsley Enagbare into coverage on that play. Their three rushers were Harrison Phillips, T’Vondre Sweat, and Jamien Sherwood. Never, ever do that again.
I mean yeah if Maye has 10 seconds to throw he’s going to find an open receiver. Impossible task for the Jets secondary. Sending 3 rushers with one of them being Harrison Phillips rushing on the edge against the LT is a death sentence. That’s on the coaching. Bizarre play call.
