I deal with strong emotion but writing and the only place I seem to be able to write is here on twitter. Some of you have asked me to write more but I have been writing here for sometime. At a suggest of oomf I am creating a thread of some of these posts.
What is angry and shaped like an asshole. 🙊

Cyclone Arnab was a very severe class cyclonic storm that made landfall on Andhra Pradesh on the early hours of 28 October 2026.
It was extensively imaged by India's Geostationary satellite fleet including the INSAT-3DS meteorological satellite that imaged it at roughly 30 minute intervals to allow Indian authorities to track the cyclone live and take precautionary safety measures.

The era of mass personalisation is here, and what a transformational use case
Ok. Remember how I got the Tangaliya shirt done. Well!!! Who wants a chindi Jacket built for our weather and true to its origin. Just had a chat with @is_rajvardhan and he said he will do it if there is sufficient interest. (10 folks)
Why does the BJP want Fluid as a member?
The ED’s case against Instadapp (Fluid) rests on one idea: a US-registered entity, allegedly run from India.
The tax angle is POEM, Place of Effective Management. Under Indian law (s.6(3)(ii) of the 1961 Act, now s.6(10) of the Income-tax Act 2025), a foreign company is treated as Indian-resident if its key management and commercial decisions are in substance made in India. If so, its global income becomes taxable here.
But the law hasn’t caught up with technology. POEM was written for boards, directors and head offices. Instadapp claims decentralised governance, where token-holders vote from around the world and code executes the outcome.
So who decides where POEM sits when no single place makes the decisions? The founders’ location, the dev team’s, or the voters’?
Its all grey
Gautam makes a good start on the first priciples argument.
Floating Billboards expand the physical domain of commercial outdoor advertising into spaces that have been residual commons. Coastlines, waterfronts, beaches and open water. Allowing advertising there resets the baseline of acceptable commercial intrusion into shared visual space. Once that threshold moves this will make everything else worse. Billboards on land will become even noisier.
The first principle objection is this blatant expansion of advertising into a public space makes pushes past the agreed tolerance of commercial advertising in public space. This makes any argument in reducing this existing advertising weaker.
Commercial advertising in public commons is a perceived negative and arguments for its current extant should be settled before its bounds can be expanded to new public commons.
Replying to @ku1deep @nitinsharma1
From first principles, I think the core difference between a billboard on a road and floating X meters away on a beach or promenade is (a) sustained exposure, for someone traveling by road a billboard is temporary, and (b) intent, a floating billboard interrupts the view they came to enjoy vs being incidental to why they are on the road in the first place.
As a matter of fact code switching should be used as a skill. Rapport management superpower.
An important skill of living with ADHD is to find a system for caring about things and finding new things you care about.

Walter Isaacson on staying silent for the guest
I was listening to The Builders podcast where Walter Isaacson is interviewing Peter Thiel. Walter asks him what is the unique human edge in this era of AI. Peter goes silent for a whole 30seconds. I kid you not a whole 30s and then provides a very heartfelt answer which essentially boils down to "Human relationships". The whole podcast is worth listening to. Twice. I recommend you subscribe to that channel as well.

It is a good think this is a note to self!! because this advice only really applies to people who can afford the CAC economies of the mature markets. everytime someone says this it is usually because they are not very good at dealing with Indians.

Phenomenal numbers. Q3 should be amazing.
Q2 FY27 was a very strong quarter for us at @atherenergy. We’re seeing demand grow at a pace that requires us to significantly step up our manufacturing capacity. Pre-orders reached a record 1.80 lakh during the quarter, more than doubling year-on-year, with growth broad-based across regions.
To meet this demand, we’re adding 2.25 lakh units of annual production capacity across our Hosur and AURIC facilities. This will take our total installed capacity to ~4.9L units by Q3 FY27 and to 11.4 lakh units by Q2 FY28.
We also made meaningful progress on our financial performance, driven by higher volumes, tighter cost control and improving unit economics. We recorded our second consecutive quarter of positive EBITDA, with strong topline growth despite rising commodity prices and supply chain disruptions:
• Total income: ₹1,527 crore 🔼 62% YoY
• EBITDA margin: 4.9%, improving ~1,450 bps YoY
• PAT: ₹1.26 crore
• Volumes: 93,211 units 🔼 42% YoY
Thank you to our customers for their continued trust, and to our teams and partners for their efforts!
