Idk if artists who draw the human figure know of this already but I found a site with a crazy number of good and free references. Modelsociety. Go to images, select category and then shuffle and you get some great stuff to draw from. Heads up for nudity tho

in my mind hot pants has like a very lean athletic build. specifically the kind where the pecs are visibly definied between the chest. maybe i will draw this later

once i became mutuals on insta with this sorta famous fandom artist i used to look up to as a kid which is cool except i also drew really shitty fanart for them as an 11 year old on deviantart and they have NO fucking idea and i still havent figured out what to do about that

when i say kinda famous i mean peoples reactions (mine included) to them being in Some Art Discord Server was "wait youre THE (name)?? holy shit" like not the biggest name but if u were into specifically speedpaints for the show at the time you probably knew them

i havent drawn kars before (not yet anyway) but i do have 100% confidence i could knock it out of the park bc one of my fav ocs to draw has extremely similar and wild hair

hair like this seems like itd be a pain to draw but it is honestly so fun because of how chaotic it is, u can kinda get away with anything. like no gravity no physics just Vibes and as long as the shapes are clean it works. its awesome i love it
