This being my friend’s little brother’s friend that was always over at their house with me as a teenager
In 2020, Canadian actor Ryan Grantham, known for his roles in Riverdale and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, shot and killed his 64-year-old mother while she was playing piano in their home.
Then he filmed the aftermath on a GoPro.
The next day, Grantham packed his car with guns, ammunition, Molotov cocktails and a map to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's residence, allegedly planning to assassinate him.
But somewhere along the way, he changed his mind. He drove to a police station in Vancouver and turned himself in.
In court, it was revealed that Grantham had been suffering from severe depression and suicidal thoughts.
He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and, in 2022, was sentenced to life in prison, with the possibility of parole after 14 years.

I don't know why people take pride in having no lives after having children. This is one reason why the birthrate is cratering - if you think marriage and children means no more fun, of course you won't want them!
No it's not. It's normal and healthy. One of the main problems with "dating discourse" as part of the larger "gender war" is that no one will admit that men and women need each other and are happiest and most fulfilled when getting along because it's painful and embarrassing to be vulnerable and so everyone adopts this posture of invulnerability. That's the sad and disgusting part.
A lot of youthful socializing and drunkenness is literally just in service of "finding a mate" as it should be. This isn't mutually exclusive of having important and fulfilling lifelong friendships or going to social gatherings for fun and pleasure.

I'm sorry but this is so fucking lame. Your grandparents partied. Your grandparents hosted, they went to bars, they did shit. They didnt sit around and pride themselves for spending all of their free time staring at their children and mowing the lawn. Get the fuck out of your house. Take your wife out for a drink and listen to some live music. Have a conversation with someone at the bar. Go to a hockey game with your college buddies. Youre not somehow more mature for being homebound. Get a life.
