For the Tories to revive their fortunes significantly at the next election, all they have to do is ensure working class voters are fully aware how deeply the Labour movement is mired in the morass of identity politics, and that - somehow - it now places the demands of men in dresses over the rights and safeguards of actual women.
Woke isn’t dead, it’s not even sleeping.
Women’s rights are workers rights too.
Women used to have to fight for their own changing, showering and toileting facilities away from men. Labour and trade unions want to roll the clock back so women have no privacy and dignity at work
Trade unions make these sweepingly biased statements and then deny on oath that they discriminate against women who want single sex provision
I hope the judges in the RCN and Community tribunals are paying attention to the pattern

This is, and has long been, the position of trade unions and the wider Labour movement on trans rights.
As the party of that movement, we must listen and act. That's my message heading into conference.
If this is in response to women having their own event at the Labour Party conference, it really shows how these unions see women in their own pyramid of oppression.
If not, what exactly do they mean by ‘trans and non binary’?
Meaningless sloganeering that fails to grapple with the fact that male demands for access to female-only services and changing facilities on the basis of self-ID undermine women’s hard-won rights, and illustrates the misogyny of the trade union movement in four short paragraphs.
Great to see the unions make this statement on Labour’s disgusting trans apartheid ahead of conference. Withhold Labour’s money. Or switch to the Greens. 🏳️⚧️💚@andyburnham @bphillipsonMP
